I only started watching YT videos reguarly a few months ago so I wasn't familiar with the most popular names like BuildableBeauty, Nina Pruitt, etc. My choices are kind of random and may not have a ton of subscribers.

sharmaine369 has good tips for long term stretching

ginaBina - Awesome video quality and overall fun to watch

HairDeLaCreme - she's a member here but I don't know her screename offhand. She's got serious skills in the wig/weave dept. I don't wear either very often but I just like watching her vids :lol:

I need to subscribe to more, I run across a lot good relaxed vloggers but forget to subscribe.

There's also some good relaxed hair blogs out there. Nadege's Relaxed Hair Health is a great one - http://relaxedhairhealth.blogspot.com/. Nadege brings a lot of knowledge on the scientific and methodical side of hair care. She also goes the extra mile with high end tools and product reviews.

trendsetta25 Thanks for making an appearance :) love your style and hair tuts.. I so want to try out that single braid you do with the 3/4 wig.

@Napp - gorgeous hair chica!
@sunnieb @Napp - I feel the same in that relaxed hair is a diminishing breed.

divachyk Maybe it is, though it seems like wigs/weaves have replaced relaxers as the go-to style aid of most black women in the offline world.

I did see a recent state that about 65% of black women are currently relaxing, way down from what it used to be. I'm cool with that though, I would rather that women who relax do so because they choose to know how to work the hell out of it rather than feeling like they have to and are resigned to awful hair.

The thing that makes sad is the multitudes of black women who don't believe their hair is acceptable in any state (natural or relaxed) and use weaves and wigs as a crutch. I see this the most in my daily life.
