LEOBODYC5 New 2012 Hair Routine Video

I love her hair, love how fit she is, and think she is a stunning woman, but I wish she spoke faster. I find myself drifting off whenever I watch her videos.

Ogoma

Her slow pace doesn't bother me as much as the fast-talkers, but yeah, she speaks slowly. Her slowness gives me time to ogle her hair and not miss anything, lol.

Love her hair and her style glad to see she is still making videos. I thought she might stop after all the negativity she was getting.
Check out her Flexi Rod set tutorial :spinning::spinning:gorgeous

is she over 40?!

Yes, she's in her early 40's. In her videos she often mentions, "when I was in my 20s and 30's..."

Not directed at you, tallnomad, BUT,

40 doesn't seem old, to me. Of course, I'm over 40, so maybe that's why I feel that way:lachen: If you take care of yourself and maintain a slim figure, I wouldn't think you would look "old" until after 60, or so.

I get annoyed when my (adult) DD's friends say "Wow, your mom doesn't look old at all." I guess over 40 means I should look like I'm auditioning for The Golden Girls. :perplexed

In one of the comments on the vid, she says that she's 36.

Wait did you just say " i used to keep bangs a lot in my 20's and in my 30's"..? So how old are you? (rhetorical question) My goodness you age well. I would love to be like you when i get older! :)

no worries. I totally agree. 40 isn't old at all. LHCF has beautiful amazing women as models of what it means to be ageless and I'm fortunate I have beautiful women, over 40, in my life I am happy to emulate as I grow better!

Very nice hair.....but i don't think i can take anything from her regime as we are totally diffferent hair types.

i love this lady. so gorgeous.
so what is the regimen exactly? *attention span of a gnat over here* :look:

Hey Bublin Im 3c/4a as well and though her curls are larger than ours she taught me about prepooing with oils. I tried the olive oil but olive oil is too heavy for my hair so I started using coconut oil instead (looks like she is using coconut oil now too). You can find tips from every hair type you may just need to alter it a little to work for you.

love her. I always thought she was a little over 40 too - she styles her hair like we did back in the day and her clothes are reminicent of my teen days. If I had her body, I'd still rock my 80s and 90s clothes! :yep:

I couldn't sit through the video but I love her hair. She is so funny because she speaks SO slowly yet is so animated with using her hands. I just went to the blog instead to stare at her beautiful hair! It's just gorgeous! And its nice to see people keeping up with their YT videos after they've reached their hair goals!

Bublin

i know you are new in your hair journey but we can learn from anybody no matter the texture. i'm a cottony 3c/4a and she's and few others on here the reason i pre-poo but i use a mix of conditioner, aloe vera gel, and oils. between this forum and yt i have gathered the most info from people whose hair is nothing like mine (type 2, 3a/b and even 4b/c).

@JinaRicci

Aww, thanks sweetie ;)

Gotta wait until I'm at least WL (and completely natural) to even consider it - need street cred, lol

In my humble opinion, I have to disagree.

You have credibility right now, already. Getting to your length with healthy hair is NO EASY FEAT. Toot your own horn honey, because you have earned it. You never know who you will inspire, especially in a Youtube video. Tapping foot with arms crossed waiting for the link to your Youtube channel....

Ahhhhhhhhh it's Chicoro I love your book the dry detangling has saved my hair *bows down*

As for leobody If anyone makes it through the video please post her reggie... As for the makeupvirgin I love her and apriluv7779... They have lovely hair too and when people ask them general questions they don't act as if it's top secret.

Bublin

I haven't noticed hair type being extremely important when it comes to regimines. Having a similar hair type is more important when it comes to styling, IMO.

Rocky91

:lachen:

Her regimen is very simple:

Prepoo with oil (she was using EVOO, now uses coconut - she has no preference)

Shampoo - she uses Pantene Thick Series (green)

Condition - Pantene (green)

She does not blowdry, but flatirons whenever she feels like it. She only uses the Maxiglide. She airdries and wears her hair bunned in between flatiron styles to give her hair a rest.
