No you didn't miss the memo. They are bringing them in a little at a time. And they are only in select stores.

I saw the new Jane Carter yesterday. But I don't have the others in my store yet. We definitely don't have Deva Curl yet because I would have picked that up. I was tempted to get that new Jane Carter Hydrator.

DON'T DO IT faithVA!!! That crap made my hair dry as hayle :nono:

I think there's a listing on KBB fb page that lists all of the Targets that carry the line. BK (Gateway) is stocked.

Yep, the Target near my home looks like this. The natural hair section pretty much explodedand tripled in size about a year ago. Everytime I go there they are expanding. I feel like a kid in a candy store. :)

Why did I come into this thread? I'm not happy at all! I would be in hair heaven if they sold these products in the shops over here. It's not fair

I was wondering why they moved the hair isle and had so much empty space at my target.. to make room for all those products. Damn, wish I knew this before I order stuff online. I really hate ordering online.

Why are the products like Kinky Curly, Jane Carter, KBB etc for "our" hair so dang expensive? $16 for an 8 oz bottle of hair gel? $21.99 for a 4oz bottle of moisturizer? :nono:

What is in those products that justify these prices/small sizes?

I agree. I like that shea moisture is kind of reasonably priced. How is the 'regular' stuff so cheap?

I just went to Target and had a mini heart attack.

I didn't want to go to crazy today, so I just purchased Karen's Body Beautiful leave in conditioner.

Well i am going to check that out...now can someone tell me why Mrs Jessie i think curling pudding or something like that is $58?...... when the first few ingredients are things like mineral oil and alcohol? Why is her products so much?

Niche market. Well it was when they started (Miss Jessies).

With little, or no decent, affordable competitors and high demand for natural products, they could charge what they wanted back then and many people would buy it even though overpriced.

I don't believe their products are worth that money and they need to be realistic because cheaper alternatives are coming! Or already have come :look: I've been natural most of my time on LHCF, but haven't got on the natural product bandwagon yet. Not sure what's going on out there:lol:.

Shadiyah, they sell Ouidad at Ulta.
Also at Sephora too, but they don't have the newest stuff yet.

I have yet to see Shea Radiance, CR, KBB or Devacurl at my Target. ETA: Or the new Jane Carter. I was happy to see they carried the smaller size of that curl cream.

I thought Target sold Devacurl a while ago but ended up but the line ended up on clearance. Are they bringing it back? I never saw it the first time around. Not that I need to try the products again anyways...

Went back to look at the pics again:

Hair Rules too? I've only seen that at Ulta.

I see the Kim Kimble line too. That was on clearance at my store a while ago.

Most of the lines have much better ingredients than the average product at the BSS. You can understand the ingredients and they're not a list of chemical names. Also a few of them might still be hand-made and mixed. There are products for other hair textures that cost just as much too.

Also I think a lot of LHCF is too darn heavy handed with products  so a smaller bottle could last longer. Or you wait til the company has a nice sale on their Web site and stock up then. LHCF knows all about that .

It's kinda like food prices. Processed stuff is cheap and then you wonder how they make it so cheap. You may prefer to buy more real food or products with better ingredients after thinking about it.
