I just posted about this one my blog but thought I'd mention it here.

Has anyone tried it? Looks like a banana clip but round.

I may be trying one out. If I do, I will post a review.

I was just thinking last weekend that someone should make something for a puff. Because that pantyhose thing is too much work  My hair does well with banana clips so this looks promising. I will check out the video tonight when I get home.

Thanks OP

^^I have the small ones that look like that. I haven't seen the larger ones. I guess I better check out the bss before I order. Last time I ordered hair clips online, I went to the bss the following month and they had everything I purchased there for $3 :ohwell:

The beauty supply store had them for 1.99 in central Jersey ( where I'm from and my mother still lives) I thought they would be good for ponytails but at the time I wasn't rocking pobytails so I bought the extra wide banana clips I use for buns

I couldn't resist so I picked one up. I don't wear puffs mainly because I can never master getting all my hair in just right. I've always admired other folks puffs so hopefully this will allow me to have a nice even puff.

Amazon says my order will arrive March 11th without prime. I'll update you all as well with my experience.

The video was kinda convincing but the reviews online were not....ill wait for someof yalls reviews before I get anything...

I'm going to try this with my locs. I run through so many hair ties in a week because they pop! Let's see how this works.

Does anyone know who designed them. I'm low key tired of other people getting wealthy off things we use. :/

I need to know how skrong it is. My hair has broken a regular banana clip.

Waiting for lhcf reviews...

I'm such a loser .

I had this idea a couple of years ago but I didn't know how to go about getting a prototype and as usual I procrastinated about researching it.

I hope her business thrives but that 1st review on Amazon is not good regarding her business practices.

Oh well.

I read that first review. Unfortunately, this is becoming the norm for businesses. I have even seen that a company sued a lady that gave them a bad review.

As a blogger, I've had several companies that had a fit when I mentioned anything negative about products they send me. They think sending me a 10 dollar product should equal a glowing review.

The creator is an AA and mother of 3. She transitioned 8 years ago because she was allergic to relaxers. She told me her story is on the page, I just scrolled down and it's all the way at the bottom of the page on the website.

As I transitioned from relaxed to natural hair, I discovered that it was impossible to find accessories to accommodate the thickness and texture of my hair. Searching in stores and online, I realized that most accessories on the market are designed for straight, thin hair – nothing like my naturally thick, coarse hair! Existing products cinched my hair to its smallest point of resistance, creating “bunny tail hair” (not a good look for a grown woman), hair breakage, damage to the accessory and Pure Frustration! It was then that the concept of the PuffCuff was born

You can still go for it, especially if you have a better design. There is room in the market for more than 1 person. You also don't know that she will stay in business very long. There are plenty of adaptations to the original design that can still be offered up. If you have a better idea, go for it :yep:

I haven't broken one yet, but I have had the second side pop across the room. The last time I tried to get my hair into a banana clip bun, my SO had to hold my hair so I could close it. It is always a moment of panic

The reviews mean nothing to me. The 1st lady was clueless and the 2nd lady was nondescript. Saying it didn't meet my expectations without saying what your expectations are, is a fail. However, looking at the product, I would probably rate it a 3 because it isn't that attractive and it isn't adjustable. The large size looks very large and on the video the girl tried to high it with her hair. With that being said, I think it has to be better than the shoe string which pulls out my hair and the knee high which is hard to adjust or the goody band which squeezes out my brain.

Since you ladies have them coming in so soon, I will definitely wait for the reviews so I know whether I should get the 5" or wait for the 3"
