And I can't even begin to describe my love for that Giovanni SAS...awesome as a deep conditioner, rinse out, leave in, styler....LAWD that's some good stuff. It was the last puzzle piece in finding all my hair care staples on ground/locally!

I am having a love affair with co washing. I just started doing this. I didn't think it would make much of a difference until I watched a WEN commercial. He has capitalized on something that you ladies have been talking about for years. So I decided to give it a try and I am in love with my hair again. I do not use WEN because I feel there are other conditioners out there that will do the trick just as well. I truly feel that the owner of WEN was lurking on our hair sites, learned about co washing, and had the money and the means to take it further.... anywho, I am in love with co washing now. Thanks to the ladies that always keep it real and share your regimens... You are truly the stars of this forum... love you!!!!

Actually the company WEN (with Chaz Dean) predates the co-washing movement and co-washing was first noticed in the original Curly Girl book back in 2001 - before forums, YouTube, etc.

Do you add the red palm oil to the DC or do you add it to your hair before/after you apply the DC? I have a jar of red palm oil that I use for the oil cleansing method on my face and will try adding it to my next wash day. TIA!
