SoulfulBeauty.com is stealing our product reviews!

Does anyone on this board own this site?

Or is it owned by Nikos, et al?

I'm asking because I was reading the "Have you found your staple moisturizer" thread and the ORS Olive Oil Creme suggestion piqued my interest. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=151473

So I Googled for the ingredients and came across this page:
http://www.soulfulbeauty.com/link.php?n=115

On it, there were all the ORS-related reviews that LHCF members posted--verbatim. I mean, the LHCF thread is like 25 pages long and the Soulful Beauty.com owner must have gone through each page to glean applicable reviews!

Ain't no tellin' what other reviews of ours that are on there. :look:

Thought I'd let you know.

:nono: Wow... I thought you sent them your review! Just kidding!
Lol, then it was edited at that! I see threads created as far back as the january of this year. It had yo be created this year. How do we find out who owns it? What is this, another black haircare site? Natural and relaxed hair?

I don't know but I do know this Wheezy yo hair sho is pretty in your siggy picture chica!
Why are folks always taking stuff from here and other places to use on their sites without members permission. This isn't the first time either. I asked why they used the ladies post and reviews without their permission. It seems like a decent up and coming site though. I'm not going to join because it may go from free to a monthly charge in 2n2. Folks got ulterior motives all over the place. I can't wait til the big bull from the heavens gets herself banned since were always making a stink here about something.

They are using our reviews for just about all of their products.

Ummm, is this really a big deal??? I don't think it's stealing information that publicly available on the internet. I understand not wanting to have other people use your words but it's all just information sharing... I dunno but I hope this doesn't turn into some nasty war of words over hair product reviews:ohwell: JMHO.

Wow, that's sad that they are stealing reviews from this site. I guess violating copyright laws means nothing to them.

i would be upset because they are building a site/clientele/whatever over material that they might have no knowledge about at all. it's foolish.

Yes its a big deal for those that used the products and took the time to share the information with us here. I wouldn't want someone taking my reviews without my permission. Many members here have tried all kinds of good and bad stuff over time and thru trial and error. Why shouldn't that board and its members do the same? The least they could do is ask the members they used if it was ok. Heck even invite them to their nice looking site. That site is rather pretty looking. :yep: [email protected] is another way to complain about using ya'll words w/o permission. Its the principal of the situation.
If it does turn into some war of words it won't be the first or last time. Stealing and ripping off members here isn't cool so folks will speak on it or maybe scream to the high heavens. I sent a pm asking why?

Oh snap. Gotta love the internet and the proliferation it's brought of people cutting corners, trying to take advantage of others, and being deceitful it's brought.  :ohwell:
