Your Favorite Detangling Shampoo

Greetings Ladies,

So I purchased Kerakair (sp?) Detangling Shampoo and Creme Conditioner because I am transitioning and the two textures on my head promotes tangles. Sadly, I am not all that impressed. Maybe my hair is just super tangly--my hair felt really soft after I got the tangles out, but the shampoo did not do anything to aid on the detangling process. Anyway, could anyone suggest their favorite detangling shampoo--I don't consider myself a product junkie, but I am willing to try new things to find out the best fit for my hair...Thanks in advance,

Janet'

Right now I'm feeling Cantu's Shea all Soft creamy shampoo...this stuff really does a superb job of detangling, adds great softness and smells great too! Plus it's pretty cheap!;)

Unfortunately you don't like one of my staple poos, both detangling....Keracare Hydrating Detangling and my other is Cream of Nature (Green and White bottle, the ultra moisturizing one)

For me, the Keracare didn't work--the slippage was great and it left my hair super soft, but as far as the detangling--it just did NOT do the job...But, I'm thinking a trip to Wal-Mart is in my future to find the Green and White Creme of Nature???

I second the Breakthru, its basically CON minus the build up. It detangled my four months of newgrowth and I didn't need to condition afterwards :p .

Some that work well for my hair are:
  • Loreal Nature's Therapy Unfrizz Smoothing Shampoo
  • NTM Cream Lather Shampoo
  • Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Daily Shampoo

The best out of all of them (and I have a lot that I love) is:

Keracare Detangling Shampoo

Others
Elasta qp Creme shampoo
Indigo Detangling
Paul Mitchelle Skinny
L'oreal Unfrizz
Creme of Nature (green bottle)
NTM shampoo

Elucence is also my favorite next to Keracare but it's more moisturizing than detangling.

Softsheen Carson Breakthru--If you can deal w/the cones

It makes my tangles just slide right out and my hair gets super tangly.

What's the difference between the Creme of Nature RED bottle and the GREEN and WHITE bottle?

CON mixed with cheapie shampoo and water.

Just enough cheapie to clean hair and scalp, Just enough CON to detangle and moisturize, and water to keep down the suds.
