I can't believe that I feel so sad when I think about the Moptop Maven gate. Maybe because I have rarely seen so much raw, clear, live talent.

I was up Thursday morning watching YT videos and I favorited about three or so of her tutorials. I kept saying to myself that her name sounded familiar and I knew there was something controversial but I never knew the extent of it.

I don't know how long ago that scandal was but I hope that those videos stay up until I master the tutorials.

She was talented, I think her blog really could have been successful by now but we'll never know.

I never thought about buying anything from her. When she started talking about her jewelry line I thought the pieces were nice but too pricey for my tastes. I'm cheap lol :lol:

I doubt she's ever come back with a blog/yt.

Such a shame everybody I start liking just up and disappear first MoptopMaven, then TXcutie all my favs just fall off the radar.

If I remember correctly...Shima stole photos of LHCF ladies and used them on her site without permission. She wanted people to believe that their hair growth was due to using her hair oil. She even included fake testimonials.

Her blog (on blogspot) is still there! By reading it, seeing her jewellery pieces, looking at her hair products and so on, I always found the way she did things outstanding. To summarize: creativity/artistic personality, analytic mind, talent for communicating and displaying things without ever being boring, very articulate, great taste... Basically, I would have bought a magazine by her and I am not a magazine person. I would have bought her earrings and I am not an earring person. I would have bought her products from the US and I'm not in the US.

Moptopmaven was a popular blogger who stopped blogging and then months later wrote a post talking about Wilsons Disease all of this was at the same time her "jewelry line" launched and people ordered products from her and never got their stuff.

She NEVER came back to the blog and a lot of people never got jewelry or a refund from their orders from her Jewelry company. Frank and Myrhh (something like that)

Then Enso Naturals came on the scene and someone got an email from the owner with the name Nikole Crowe aka MopTopmaven who was supposed to have wilsons disease.

Everyone starting blasting her on twitter, Facebook, youtube, her blog ,etc then finally she posted a birth certificate of a dead baby saying that she had a son who died the same day and thats why she stopped blogging. She also claimed that she was not behind the Enso Naturals company.

Now Today MoptopMaven has never been back to her blog, her jewelry line, and Enso naturals no longer exists....

So there is a quick recap on the whole situation.

Truth be told I did feel a little sad when the shenanigans started. I really liked her blog and it inspired me to go through with actually starting my own. But playing 'round with people's money is not the business.

what does this have to do with lies and scamming? This song is old and so what she was an extra in a video. I'm not defending MopTop Maven at all, I never followed her or cared to but being in a video doesn't prove anything but that she was young having fun back in 2002 when this song was out.
