I see a new hair picture missy! That color looks great on you and to keep it healthy with that blond color is quite unicorn of you.

Any tips on how you detangle your blond hair and are you having any problems with thinning ends?

Thank you.

Yes I just got a roller set, blow out and 1" trim! Refreshed my blonde and added a bit more last month. I still am very very surprised with how my hair has been handling it! The salon ladies keep saying it is the Olaplex keeping it healthy and protecting it from the bleach. Idk how true that is because the first time I dyed my hair blonde was before LHCF so you do the math  although I did skip out on the Olaplex once to test it out and I DID see a difference. All I know is imma definitely continue to use it. I'm an inch away from waist length!! Some pieces are already there, but the majority is not.

My ends have always been thinner on the bottom, but it's not any more than before I dyed it. My consistent dusting and trims help a lot with the detangling and hot oil rinses also make it look thicker imo. I'm still taking my silica too.

Of course, I ALWAYS detangle from the bottom up. I moisturize and seal section by section and it makes a big difference. I keep my hair in two french braids, a bun, or a wash n go these days. I use Matrix Biolage Hydrasource Mask as a deep conditioner. Shea Moisture strengthen, grow & restore and One 'n Only Argan oil Curl cream as moisturizers. Oils are easy for me because my hair LOVES oils. My favorite, however, is still Argan and Moroccan :) I've attached a pic of the products I use :love2:

Love the color. When I hit Tail, I might try it.
Please share more about your hair journey. Has you hair always grown to long lengths?
"

Tail length light hair on one of us would be pure :love: imo. I didn't do the strand test obviously but if I were to try this again and especially with tail length, I would. remember to read up and ask about olaplex if you ever decide to!!

my hair has definitely NOT always been long. Like most people, it was very long as a child (hip length or close to it). By the time I got to middle school, I was straightening it a lot and it began to break off. By the end of middle school/beginning of high school, my hair was at my shoulders and damaged. Shortly before my 15th birthday, which is a very special birthday in my culture, I thought about what the heck I would do with my hair and decided on getting a weave. When I took my weave out, I noticed some crazy growth and all around better hair. So I weaved it for about a year. Then, I found LHCF when I was 19/20 which basically led me to where I am now, moisturizing, sealing, protective styling and all. Nowadays I straighten it every month and a half or something. I am trying to cut down, but I still struggle sometimes with my curly, fine hair. I also work at a nightclub and sometimes I just can't get these curls to do what I want and I NEED to look presentable at work, so that's my biggest struggle at the moment.
If I could describe my hair journey in a couple of words they would be: oils, deep trims (if I need one, I need one..no holding back), dustings, deep conditioning and LOTS of braids, braid outs and buns.

More hair photos, please!

I have so many with my face so I want to delete them after lol. I will try to take more pics without my face in them from now on :spinning: @NappyNelle

The very first week or so when it was mostly brown. still blonde in this pic but it's too dark to see.

Most of the time it either looks like this ^

actually I take this back it looks darker than usual in this one. It looks much more like my avi in the light. (or braided which I don't have a picture of. My braids suck so they're mostly when I'm just around the house or my aunt does them)

@melahnee I might take the plunge in a couple months. Is your hair high porosity, or low? I have hi-po hair and I'm concerned about it becoming more dry.
I'm not sure which porosity my hair is honestly. It sucks in product really well if that helps. I don't moisturize every single day because it builds up kind of easy.

No more blonde. My husband didn't like it from the beginning and I got sick of hearing his complaints. Lol. So I'm back to a solid brown with absolutely no highlights.. my husband says it still looks dirty blonde wants it darker but he will have to deal because I like this color and it looks brown to me:spinning:. I'll try to get my hubby to take a pic for me later because I suck at them. @ShredsofDignity this is the most chocolatey I've ever gotten my hair to.

So healthy.

Is your hair relaxed or natural? And how do you get it to be so straight

thank you @11228 . My hair is natural. Honestly, my hair has always gotten really straight fairly easily, but it probably looks really straight in these pics because they were professionally done. I go to a salon to dye it so they straighten it for me, however when I do it at home (which is hardly ever), I always dc and use argan or moroccan oil. I straighten on very low heat, passing through very small sections very slowly. I wish I had something better to say say but I honestly don't do anything special.

It's pretty but now it looks like a blondish red to me.
That is not chocolatey . But I think you look amazing with light hair! So your husband wants it back to dark?

lmao I guess I just really suck at colors but I could have sworn this looked chocolatey. My sister says it is chocolatey too. This reminds me of the white&gold or black&blue dress debate lmao. I could never see the white and gold.
He said he wishes I would dye it dark brown almost black. I don't care lol.
