I made really good progress this year! I was actually really surprised my hair grew so fast. Fast forward to thanksgiving...I asked my grandma to cut my ends :cry3:. She cut my hair in such a weird shape, and now I just want to cut it all off. She cut it straight and when it's curly, it looks so funky, I hate it.

I'm going to the barber shop in a few...

Don't cut it all off. Give it a few months to see if it grows out of that shape.

I can't really do anything with it except a wash and go or twist out. The front is so short it doesn't all fit in a pony and it looks like an Afro mullet.
Is there an ulta near by? Perhaps they can fix it. Chopping it all off just sounds like a temporary fix. I would see if I could get someone to try and fix it before going that route.

But of course you have to decide. You have to see it every day.

I went to the barbershop and the guy I was referred to (by my bald father :lachen:), was not there. They told me to take his number and call. His phone number is disconnected. So they say come back at around noon. I get there and there's at least 4 people already waiting and a wee little boy :infatuated:. He was so cute getting his haircut. Anyhoo...then my job called because I thought I had to be in at 3 and I had to be there at 1! At that point it was already 115 and I had to put on my work clothes still.

I feel these are signs...

Maybe I'm exaggerating. I've had my hair in braids for awhile so I haven't really played around with it.

I made that post after seeing my wash and go hair and it looked weird last night and when I woke up this morning. Now that it's dried and I've picked at it, it looks WAY better. I still need to shape it and cut it in a better style, but I'll keep it longer than I initially was.

Lol im sorry for laughing but those signs are burning red. Since you say its shaped like a mullet why dont you try a mohawk style? Like braid or flat twist the sides upwards into a curly mohawk, maybe add a lil color? Play around with it
