A(nother) Example of the Tither being COVERED!!!!

So last night when I got home I had to carry a large item into the house from out of the trunk. I had my wallet in my pocket when I got out of the car and assumed my wallet had made it into the house. I did not look for it at all.

So this morning, I'm heading out to the car. I see my wallet laying on the ground next to the car by the trunk. The wallet had been out there ALL NIGHT. The wallet had my identity in it, including my driver's license, social security card, receipts, my credit/debit cards, my car registration, my school IDs.

All the items were still in the wallet UNTOUCHED. All I could say (and I'm still saying is THANK YOU, JESUS!)

I have had other examples in my life of how the devourer was rebuked for my sake, and how my fruit was not cast before its time. That's an Old Testament word from the Lord that still is alive and well in the 21st century.

Peace to you all and hopefully this praise report is a blessing and an encouragement to you.

Blessings for your Hubbie's promotion, Lauren :yay:

Blessings Precious Wavy for your financial blessing.... :yay:

I got one too! May I share?

I'm in transition between Florida and Maryland, so I've opted to stay in my apartment until I make a definite move into a house. However, because I'm not signing a year's lease, they wanted to up the rent and in addition, add a huge surcharge for going month to month or for 6 months.

I had to 're-sign' Sunday afternoon and before going, I prayed, "Lord, I refuse to give them another dime of 'our' money. I'm not paying an increase to these people. I refuse to.

I get to the office and there's the contract.......the rent is $5 LESS from what I'm paying now. Now that's God! Totally God. Less not more but LESS!

Praise Him.....:yay: :woot: :reddancer: :notworthy:  Praise Jesus! Halleluia! Glory, glory, glory to His name.

Hmmmm.... I don't tithe. Three weeks ago I dropped my wallet in a crowded casino. Someone found it and turned it in with all my money, my school ID, DL, SS card, and a card version of my birth certificate (everything they needed to steal my identity). So, it would seem that perhaps you just had good luck. Just like this non-tither was lucky that someone honest found her wallet.

I did't want to come in here and mess up this praise thread. But I agree with you heare to some degree. GOd couldn't have watched over your wallet just because He is a good God? It was mainly because you are a tither?. It is important that we stop putting limits on God. I know we have been talking about tithing these past couple of days, and you probably wanted to make a poin but still....

God is just a good God. However, I rejoice with you that He watched over your wallet and saw to it that it was returned to you, with all intact.

Hello... peace to you....

I can tell you up front that I do not ascribe to any form of "luck" or "chance" or "coincidence". It's been my understanding that "luck" is a way of saying that one is being "blessed by the devil" versus being blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the blessing and the mercy and the providence and the covering of the Lord Jesus Christ that the Lord Jesus Christ covered my FINANCIAL IDENTITY. I demonstrate my worship, praise, adoration, and gratitude to the Lord for His covering, His safety, His FAVOR(!) through my willing act of tithing.... It's not MAINLY because I am a tither, but I DECLARE strongly that the Lord isn't ignoring this act of worship through my finances.

Another (ironic?) thing is that last summer, my car got broken into IN THE SAME SPOT where my wallet was. That's why I titled this thread "ANOTHER" EXAMPLE of tithing. My car would have been gone if the building owner had not showed up when he did and saw them breaking into my car and they ran away. Those people didn't have to care about the building owner seeing him. They could have harmed him just to get the car...but they didn't.... if that isn't REBUKING THE DEVOURER FOR MY SAKE....

The Holy Spirit is so awesome that He would impress upon you NOT TO diminish/discredit my praise report. I thank the Lord for the Holy Spirit going AHEAD OF ME to do so in MY DEFENSE.... To the Lord Jesus Christ be all the glory, honor, and praise.

Peace to you....

:grouphug2: SmartyPants...there is a difference. Thank God for His grace and mercie's unlimited.

Remember how Pharoah mocked Moses? Who won in the end?

There is a 'call' upon each of us as Christians to support the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If the world does it, it will always have 'conditions of compromise'. When 'we' as Christians do it, God honors our faithfulness and rewards us far above and beyond what he would do for others.

We have to know that God is all of who He says He is and will continue to do all and what He has said He would do. And He does honor the faithful ones who support His kingdom here on earth.

Another thing...why were you a Christian in a crowded Casino? :nono:. No judgment, just asking. There are some places where we just do not belong in. And if .... only if you were there and giving them your money, as opposed to 'seeding' into the kingdom of God.....................

If you are in a Casino, it's your choice. I don't think any less of you. I think you are a sweetheart. :yep:

However, Come on precious one. Come on. This is not for you, as a child of God. In an environment of such, you are subject to the spirits that dwell therein. These spirits are hovering over you looking for and gaining access into your spirit and into your life. If you have children, you are endangering them by bringing these spirits into your home. Children need our spiritual covering, as they are subject to the spirits which surround them, unless they are Covenant protected.

Also, for anyone to be in a gambling position and boast about not being a 'Tither' is dangerous, for you've dedicated your financial future to the world's system which is owned by satan. In many ways 'one' who does such is saying, there is no God." And in such, may call upon God and not get an answer from Him for one has put a wall up.

For any Christian who takes recreation in a Casino is risky, "For a fool and his money will soon depart..."

Blessings angel...:giveheart:

I wasn't the one that said anything about luck or chance, and I don't believe that what happened to you was anything that happened by chance, I too believe that it was done by God. If you read my post you would see that I didn't diminish or discredit your praise report and that I wasn't going to even post in this thread. I even went as far as rejoicing with you, because I knew God had His hand in what happened to you. However I am not one to limit God, and think that His blessings on my life has to do with whether or not I tithe. I just believe God is a good God. Now I will leave this thread alone and let it be what you intended it to be. I am sorry that I messed your thread up, and that you took my post wrongly.

I did notice that about the luck/chance after I posted and I did post that paragraph to the poster who did mention it.

I believe that there through tithing, there is an EXPANDED access to the blessings and favor of the Lord, which is actually the opposite of restriction....

You didn't mess up the thread with your post. Truth prevails everytime. You are welcome to read and/or contribute at your pleasure.

Wow...RR you are:

Blessed in the Country and blessed in the City;
Blessed coming in and going out;
You are the head and not the tail.
And everything that you put your hands too....shall prosper!

I see a wave of glory over your life, RR. I see the hand of God upon you and His favor surrounding you. The enemy that is trying to hinder the plan that God has in store for you...his back is broken this day, in the Name of Jesus and you shall not be moved!

Rejoice, oh mighty woman of God! Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad.
For the Lord is before you as the Captain of the Hosts and His army is ever strong, and the victory is yours this day!

Take the spoils...all of it! For I rejoice with you and I know that greater is He that is within you than He that is in this world!

Hallelujah...glory be the Name of the Lord, Most High!

Luv you, sis....!

That's great, but it wasn't because you tithed. Jesus is a real and He does look out for His children but it isn't contingent upon if we tithe or not. So if a person gives 9% instead of 10% would God not take care of that person?

You CANNOT BUY God's favor!

Hello....

I certainly have and hold COMPLETE OWNERSHIP on the source of my blessings, the Lord Jesus Christ. 10 percent of any amount of money on this planet is not even on the same universe of "buying" God's favor but I got it!

I believe the Lord honors tithing as a form of worship. Worship gets the Lord's attention. I believe worship in general opens access to a higher, deeper level of the Lord and I believe worship through tithing specifically opens access to an expanded level of blessings.

Peace to you.

God indeed takes care of all of us, even the 0% Tithers and Givers.

Tither's aren't 'buying' God's favor; neither are they trying to. We could never have enough money to buy anything from God. But Gods does indeed honor those who honor Him and commit to supporting His work, no matter what the cost. God honors them in ways far above the norm.

It's a Godly principle that you reap what you sow. Whatever measure you give, will be multiplied back to you. Tithers receive a greater blessing due to their faithful giving and their trust in God with their money.

I've lived this far too long for anyone to dispute it. I can stand upon God's word with a certainity that it will come to pass because I've learned to trust Him. And when a person can trust God with their money, they can trust Him with everything else.

Our money is the one thing that we hold on to and it prevents God from releasing all that He has for us. Tithe and Trust are one in the same; they go hand in hand. For a Tither has their full trust in God and His provision in all aspects of their lives. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Non thithers' are simply speaking and demonstrating who their trust in in...the 10% for them.

Love and Blessings, Darlin' :grouphug2:

RR, That's a wonderful praise report. I thank God for covering you.

As a victim of Identity Theft, I personally know that God will rebuke the devour on your behalf. Someone was using money out of my accounts just like it was theirs I didn't realize it until about a month later. When I contacted my bank and reported the incidence they ask me to come in and fill out some paperwork I did and they gave me back my money in full the same day. I also had to file a police report. While at the police station I spoke with the officer over the Theft Unit and he told me that most people don't even get their money back he asked how'd that happen I said Jesus.

So sorry didn't mean to hijack your thread.

RR, I posted this in Nice and Wavy's "Financial Blessing Thread" and it belongs in yours here as well... Here goes:

Shimmie said:
I have more financial blessings to give God all the glory for...:happydance:

* Since last Saturday up until yesterday, I have received a total of $171 in the mail. All Glory to God for it was truly unexpected. :yep:

* 3 weeks ago I received a gift certificate for $20 (unexpected).

* Wednesday evening I had to stop at the grocery store. I took a 'shortcut' and went in Marshall's Department Store. There were two beautiful picture frames that I was 'eyeing' for a few months but I coudn't justify spending $35 for them. They were well worth it, but I'm determined to stay on budget and spend less money and save more.

I saw the frames 'again' and they were reduced to $24. I still couldn't justify the cost for a random 'desire'. I wanted the frames to put my friends new pictures in that he sent me. (wanted, not needed).

I thought to myself, "Lord, if only they were lower, but Oh well, it's okay, I won't worry about it." Within moments, the Manager walked up and said, "Anything you want with a red sales let me know and I'll mark it down lower for you. I have to clear out this department."

Glory to God, she gave me BOTH frames for $5.00. Yes $5.00!!! :yahoo: Not $5.00 each, but $5.00 for both. Oh Praise God!!! who truly gives us the desires of our hearts. Yes He does, indeed!

In addition, she gave me a markdown for 3 beautiful table runners that I was also interested in a few weeks ago, but they were $19.99 (total $60). She marked one of them down to $3.00 and the other two to $2.00 each (correction made).

Praise God! I needed (wanted) these to match my livingroom & dining area decor.

ETA: Correction: Runners 1 @ $3 and the other 2 for $2 each not $3.

* Imported chocolate mint cocoa in a tin for just 70 cents! And two knitted sock / style Christmas stockings for 70 cents each (for my boys, as these stockings are not so 'girly looking ).

* Bathroom gold decor liquid soap / lotion pump -- $2.00

* Beautiful soft/plush velour fleece burgundy blanket reg $19.99 --- paid $7.

Here's the thing. I DID NOT go into Marshall's looking for this.

I was only taking a shortcut through the store to get to the grocery store, and yet GOD...saw fit to 'MEET' me there and bless me with all of the items that I wanted prior...He kept them there for me and dropped the cost.

This is all in addition to my 'rent' being REDUCED, not increased. Now you know that was God! Nobody gets reduced rent unless it's court ordered or God, and it's always God. :nono:.

Precious Wavy, it was just as you shared above, the blessings will follow after me and they surely did. I didn't go looking for them, they came looking for me.

It's God's glory. Not man, Not the universe

...only God. And to Him I give all praise and glory.

I'm also posting this in RR's thread, "Blessings of a Tither". For God's mercies are from glory to glory...forever and ever...Amen.

Blessings to you and RR for starting these threads. It's high time God gets acknowledged for the things men take credit for themselves.

And it's not about the money nor material things..it's simply about God blessing us for His is the God of ALL Blessings. There is no other; for did He not create all things? Every good and precious gift comes from God and only God.

:blowkiss: God bless you, precious Wavy...
God bless you too, RR :blowkiss: Thank you for giving God the Glory and none other. :yep:
