Advice for my brother who wears cornrows

My brother wears cornrows, he's never had a perm, he wanted to know what products can he use to soften his hair, and to make his hair not look so frizzy when he gets cornrows, his hair is 4b, but, I love his hair, it's think and to his shoulders, can someone advise on what products can achieve these results for him.

He may want to try a product called Cornrow Magic. It is supposed to soften hair, reduce braid frizzies, and reduce itchiness. Here is a link: Cornrow Magic

Ladies on another site advised against using a lot because it may flake.

He can also try Better Braids UnBraid Spray (I think the UnBraid Spray is better than the regular spray). It always softened my natural hair. I'm using Organic Root Stimulator Carrot Oil to moisturize my scalp and relaxed hair. It is great and may work for him.

Also any type of activator will make his hair feel very, very soft. He can try Sta-Sof-Fro, or Worlds of Curls, and many of the ladies like S-Curl.

I know it sounds strange, but curl activator will soften his hair ASAP!
