Yup I used to not like it too much, my hair was so flat so i started texlaxing a few years ago and that has helped.
do hair stylist do this? and also does it last as long as a relaxer?
@Lucie when are you going to post your regimen... Please?
Nope, you're not the only one.
However, I LOVE a fresh relaxer! The look, the feel, yummy! My fresh relaxed hair is not flat since I've been doing the process myself.
I only relax 3 times a year, so I always look forward to relaxing and seeing the lengths of my labor.
The fresh relaxer feeling and flat look was the reason I started texlaxing. I used to relax my hair every 6 weeks and I only liked it from week 2-5. Now that I texlax I pretty much like it all the time.

summerof1990 so sorry it took long to respond to u! I transitioned my hair from bone straight to texlaxed in 2010 and now all of my hair is wavy.. I have to treat it like natural hair more than relaxed hair because it still has texture. I am sure stylists can texlax but I haven't been to one since 07 lol..
i cant deal with my natural hair so i think i will stay relaxed. and on the stylist part i see a lot of girls gave up stylist and still have beautiful hair but i refuse to relax myself for now after i damaged my hair and never get it straight.
