I found one youtube review, of Emerald. They seem to have only the 5 styles at the moment.

Haven't tried the FreeTress Equal Whole Lace, but I do have the FT Equal Lace Front, and I LOVE IT! I plan to order other styles. I'm interested to learn more about this new collection.

Reply to: "Are Lace Fronts Comfy to Wear Everyday?"

I wear LF's everyday, and mine are comfy, but I don't use glue or tape to secure the edges. Mine pretty much lie flat, but I add some clips or bobby pins to the temple areas (concealed beneath hair) to ensure it stays flat. Mine are very convenient for me. I wear LF's about 80% of the year...I give my hair a break and let it out in the late spring and summer. As soon as the temps drop back down from the 90's + to low 80's and below, I braid my hair up and do my wigs again from Sept. to late March. I love the way my hair has grown by being able to rest. HTH!

I've always wondered if these units were able to be supported without glue or tape...that would be great if it wasn't cause I'd totally try it...!!!

I saw the Freetress whole lace wig in person and I agree with this review (from blackhairspray.com).

It's the same plastic mesh lace that is normally used for synthetic wigs (not the softer lace used by Janet Collection). Also, with both the Janet Collection whole lace and Freetress whole lace, the style options are loose hair or a ponytail. These wigs cannot be worn half up/half down because of the cap construction. The lace is 1 - 2 inches in front with small knots but the rest of the cap, black mesh, has much larger knots so that if one wears the hair half up & half down, the larger knots at the back will be visible.

They are a good alternative to a full lace wig, but they are expensive for synthetic. Locally, the whole lace wigs are $80 in NYC. Some of the ladies on BHM have found full lace, human hair wigs for $100 from Chinese vendors (with $30 - $35 shipping though).

Not what I expected.

I bought this wig because I thought that it was natural looking and the fact that you can wear it in a high ponytail. I found that you can only wear it two ways, down and in a ponytail. I sometimes like to wear my lace wigs, half up & half down. With this wig, the way the cap is constructed I could not wear it half up. Also, the hair tangles really fast. I had it on for two days and the hair started to tangle.

Here is a review from someone on Blackhairspray.com. It was the only review I could find in my quick search! I am interested myself... I really like the Emerald... :) http://www.blackhairspray.com/product-p/sngwoeme.htm

The synthetic LF's are not that comfortable to me, the wig itself is very comfy, but the "lace" not so much. I could not wear them every day. The lac itches my forehead and pulls at my hairline. I am definitely interested in the Janet Whole Lace wig because of the softer lace they use.

Oh... it looks so realistic! But I am way too cheap to spring for that. Everyone in my town knows my wigs are not my real hair anyway, b/c they have all seen it down. No need to shell out that much when I ain't fooling anybody anyway.

Yeah, me too. I refuse to pay $80 for a synthetic wig. My friends/family/coworkers all realize that I wear wigs since I change the length and color a few times per month.
