I've found that baby shampoo (Walmart's version of johnson and johnson) was super super gentle.... Too gentle on my hair, but it may be gentle and cleansing enough for your scalp and hair.

I also find Trader Joe's Norish Spa shampoo to be gentle and cleanses the scalp and hair well.

ITA, this stuff is very gentle and super moisturizing. Plus it comes in a sample size that you can try it out first without spending a whole lot of money and see if you like it.

I only use gentle poos on my dd's hair, so I use either Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deep Moisture Poo (sulfate free) or NTM Moisturizing Poo.
