Can somebody tell me how to seal my ends please?

I have heard about sealing your ends but am not exactly sure how to do it.

Please can somebody give me details such as:

1. Is it done on wet or dry hair?

2. How is it done?

3. What products do you use to do this?

4. How often do you do this?

5. The benefits you have noticed from doing this?

Sealing your ends is just applying moisturizer, then oil afterwards. The oil seals in the moisture. I guess it doesn't really matter when you do it or what products you use. Use whatever moisturizer you prefer and whatever oil you prefer. I use conditioner, then an oil mix of various oils and I do it every night. It keeps them from being ruffled and they are always soft and moisturized.
