Design Essentials - Silk Essentials and Botanical Oils? What are they for?

I went to my new hair stylist yesterday and she suggested some products from the Design Essentials line for my hair. She suggested the
Moisture Retention Shampoo
Express Conditioner
Compositions for wet styling
Therapeutics Leave-In Hydrating Conditioner as a treatment
Silk Elements and Botanical Oils for finishing

The thing is I don't know what the Silk Elements or the Botanical Oils are supposed to do. Do anyone have these products? When do you use them and what for?

I have a curl but Natalie does silk (flat iron) my hair from time to time. I don't use the oil but if you're talking about the clear Silk Essentials, I would use it daily for a little weightless shine. Definitely lighter than oil & you only need like 1/2 a dime size. My hair is longer & I only use a dime sized amount.

Ah ok. I just realized I wrote the the wrong product oops lol - Silk Elements is suppose to be the Silk Essentials... I wish hair care products didn't all have such similar names.
