Does anyone else heat STYLING cremes and oils?

Last night I warmed up my homemade styling creme, which is a rich lotion mixed with coconut and olive oil, and applied it to my dry hair. My curly hair immediately looked better.

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome my hair looks even this morning!!! Lots of shine and weight, with no frizz at all.

For my 3c thick hair, I HAVE to use heat to penetrate my hair. Otherwise, every product simply sits on top of my hair and leaves me with a frizzy rat's nest. I figured if hot oil treatments work so well, why not warm all of my creamy/oily styling products?

Now mind you, I wouldn't heat a silicone or gel product. This is only for cremes and oils.

I'm thinking about buying one of those battery-operated baby bottle warmers and keeping it in the bathroom to heat my styling cremes and oils every day.

Whereas before my hair was fuzzy, this new way leaves me with extremely defined ringlets and waves - deeply crimped and well-formed waves.

Does anyone else heat their creamy/oily styling products? This one's a keeper!
