seal with Polisher? I love my coconut oil but its kind of hard to find virigin coconut oil around here, so I may use polisher as a back up because it seems like it would seal very well.

Oh yeah, is it true that there is no such thing as extra virgin coconut oil because thats what mine says but it solidifies when cold and smells "nutty". If the word "extra" is used, does that really mean that it is refined? I use Emerald Laboratories Coconut Oil.

One of our old members Navs, used chi silk infusion to seal her ends. I do it sometimes, it doesn't weigh my hair down as much and it don't have to use it everyday since the silicone doesn't wear off as quickly as oil.

Maybe try doing serum on half of your head and oil on another for a week and see if you notice any differences.
