I use the FHI Platform the 1inch version got it off amazon its cheaper than a $100 now and it should be 3 layers of ceramic plates i had reasearched it a long time ago but it works well and goes up to 450 degrees

I have a Sedu. it gets my hair smooth shinny and leave it odorless at any temp.

I had a maxiglide for like 2 weeks then lost it @ a hotel  but that thing was amazing! My hai submitted to that thing, but it left burnt hair smell :( even on the 4 setting

Sedu Revolution @ 300, once I turned down the heat my hair had more sheen. Even the instructions in the box say "310 or less for chemically treated or color treated hair"!

I just did this weekend, my Joico ReconstrRX Vapor Iron. I tried it at 356° recommended for fine haired ladies.

Babyliss Pro Ceramic or Babyliss Pro Tourmaline at 180 degrees C. I love them both, but I think I like tourmaline slightly better. Gets it straighter and shinier for whatever reason.
