I see that many of you ladies use amla oil as a prepoo. What's the benefit of this oil versus another one (castor oil or EVOO)? Where do you get amla oil?
I use on roots of hair all over. It is suppose to make hair stronger and shiny. I buy from Indian Market on Devon in chicago.

Sorry Leslie, I totally missed this.
Well, I have used other dryers and this one is just so much better. I used to have an Andis Ionic dryer that many raved about, but I got the lucky chance to try a higher end dryer last Christmas after BeautyFirst's after Christmas sale. I got a Rusk Hyperionic for only $30! That one was great, too. I don't use a comb attachment, only the concentrator but my hair always dried pretty fast on low temps. Also, my hair was never dry. Actually just the opposite. I found that my hair was drier when I airdried vs. using my dryer.
A little piece of the Hyperionic broke off and even though it still worked fine, I wanted service for it since it was still under warranty. They discontinued the Hyperionic so they said they would send me the Speed Freak to replace it.
While I waited for my replacement, I bought a CTC Lite that I got for a good deal. Works just as great as the Hyperionic except I do notice that it does not dry my hair as fast on the lower temps.
I am all for higher end appliances now - from flatirons to dryers. They do really work better than the cheap ones.
