having trouble laying my edges down

Up thread I posted about raw honey and curls paste which are both good for when my hair is curly. The raw honey actually worked better than the paste.

On my straightened hair I had been looking for something for my edges. Curls paste made my hair revert, so I tried Hicks. I really like it. I smoothed a little on my edges after blow drying and tied with a scarf. My edges are really smooth like they've been pressed and no reversion.

Hicks is almost double the price of Curls paste, but the container is more than twice as big and you only need to use a little, so I think it's worth it.

Gels don't work for me either. I'm going to try the curls control paste...I have a feeling a pomade or wax will work better for my hair type.
