Okayyyy...........I was just on YT searching for a hairstyle for my presentation for my class I have and althought its too late (its tomorrow and the bss store is closed!! AGHH!!!) I still want to do this hairstyle.

I'm not sure of this girls texture/hair type but I know mine is silky(my two strand twists barely stay small, med. or large even with gel/shea butter). She used the Marely Braid hair. What hair could I get that would be similiar but look more like my natural texture? Like a silky 3b/c but not look fake?

Heres a thread with some pics of my hair.

Thanks. I'm going to look that up now. I really want to try this style if I can find some hair that will match.

AuNaturalMaMa Do you think you can slick down your hair to resemble this lady's slick down bun? If yes, then you can possibly try the same hair she used which is Kanekelon. This is the inspiration for the video you posted in the OP.

I actually watched that video after. She does have more of a slicked down look and the bun is simpler. I just liked the other one better cause it has the bang. I think I look weird with all my hair pulled back/slicked down without some kind of bang. I'm going to look @ both types tomorrow will probably grab both kinds. I have my presentation tomorrow maybe I can still get the hair in time wekll see. I will plan to take post pictures either style or hair I choose. Thanks for the advice.

AuNaturalMaMa Oh I mean you could just leave out some hair in front for a bang, do a braid out on the left out hair to give it some texture and then pin it up. If not, then try using the extensions to make the bang.
