I am not getting notice of new messages in threads

can someone tell me what I need to do in order to receive notices of new posts within a thread. I am subscribed to the thread & have the "instant email notification" selected but I am still not getting anything in my inbox.

they have. I just so happen to check back and saw your reply but I did not have anything in my inbox ohwell: what gives?
