NYE side boob.
This is something I've always wanted to do, so 2 days ago I couldn't take it any longer and so YOLO.:look:
but i guess i also do have more practical reasons, like the extensive damage that my hair suffered. all kinds of hair sins and no TLC and I just couldn't take the lifeless mess on my head anymore.
my momma's gonna kill me y'all. :nono:
so is my daddy.:nono:
I really like it.

that is all for now. I'm excited to see it as it grows and all the fun things you can do with a TWA, which i never had.

I love it! You look nice:yep: :look:Not everyone can do a baldie/ fade/twa and look girlie or even cute. You also have a cute shaped head. Yes, Mom & Dad will be pissed but hair grows back. It will grow back quickly and be healthy which will make it more beautiful.

Black folks go all kinds of crazy about women cutting their hair...they alway think:

my daddy, trying to "reason" with me: "i've seen some women do it and it never grew back in their whole lifetimes."
me: :look: "did they have a terminal illness or something? cause that's actually just impossible."
and then i reminded him that he gets linings every two weeks....evidence that hair does indeed grow :lol:
 
I cannot believe this either, but I agree that you pull this off easily! You and your hair look gorgeous either way! Congrats on the new growth journey!

i love a nice fade! looks good on you! i know it feels good too, huh? i loved getting in the shower and just getting my hair wet, put some moisturizer in, brush, and go!
 
WOW! Dang you look stunning! If I could look as good as you with a fade I'd do it too. You are very pretty and your head is the perfect size. Rock it!

Truth be told, when I first saw your after picture I thought "all that full, bushy hair...gone!" :nono: But then I saw how beautiful you looked, both inside and out, and I thought, "Werk it girl!" You are one of the lucky ones who can rock such a striking (and low maintenance!) cut and still be feminine and beautiful, so props to you! I wish I could, but I have been called "Sir" one too many times while sporting a 'fro much bigger than that to ever try a TWA again, especially at my age. Enjoy your new found hair freedom, and may this hair growing journey be a healthier one for you. :yep:
 
You look lovely. My only issue is your timing. Winters in Illinois are no joke!! I hope Santa brings you some sassy hats for that wind. :lol: But you're gorg. :yep:
