I shed the most hair when I have a lot of new growth and I don't comb for a week. Well, I guess all of that shredded hair just stays in, and when I finally comb it, my heart breaks to see so much shedding.:-(

...I get lax on DCing (Motions Oil Moisturizer Silk Protein conditioner) and try to rely solely on cowashing for too long. As long as I DC at least once a week, I get the needed slip from my cowash cheapies like V05 Strawberries and Cream to avoid shedding.

I shed the most hair when I'm taking down a PS that I've worn for 2 months (usually cornrows from a self-install weave). But, I don't get too upset because I know it's normal shedding from not combing my hair for 8 weeks.

Summertime shedding. You could swear my shed hairs put together look like a furry small pet :perplexed

I shed the most when I don't comb my hair for a couple days and only brush. But you naturally lose 100-150 hairs a day so I don't freak out.:yep:
