Are you counting transitioning, or natural from the BC date? I think this would be a good thread, since I'm alone (locally) in my journey I wonder if my hair is growing at a normal pace. However, do you think LHCF ladies might get competitive? Just wondering, lol!

Mine... not so much, but I'll share anyway.

I did my BC January 25, 2010

And here's how it looked last month when I blew it out and "flat ironed" it. It wasn't really all that "flat" IMO.

Seven months of growth here. I guess I can't complain, though I wish my hair grew faster! Really though, I should be grateful! I had always believed I had the slowest growing hair in the world, so the half inch per month I've been getting is actually pretty good.

DDTexlaxed Great idea and I totally agree! A big chop after a six month transition certainly wouldn't look the same as one done on a person who never actually transitioned at all... such as me!

When I BC'd I was about two months away from my last relaxer. Actually, I had been getting ready to relax my hair again, but decided to go natural instead!

tHeHaIRLaB LOVE the video!! That twist-out was looking darn good too! Just the right combination of definition and fluff! NICE! I can't wait till I'm able to do a twist-out like that!

I'm guessing that's you in the video? Did you transition before doing the BC? If so how long? I'm just curious because I want to get an idea of how long my hair will be by the time I hit my one year mark!
