quick silk elements relaxer question?

i normally self relax with mizani bb and it has a neutralizing conditioner step that comes before the color alarm shampoo. Silk elements relaxer doesn't have that step in their directions, should i still condition and then shampoo or just shampoo? HELP??

I think it's up to you. I have read on the boards before that conditioning continues the process of bringing down the ph along with rinsing the hair with water. So as long as you don't wait to long to neutralize, I think you should be OK.

I would always condition with a reconstructor or moisturizing conditioner before I shampooed when I used Silk Elements relaxer.

I always do the protein/reconstuctor conditioner before neutralizing. Mine specifies to do it that way, but even if it didn't I would still do it.
