Relaxer in NYC??....Just moved to NYC

I just moved to NYC. I am looking for a stylist to do a relaxer on my hair. A stylist who knows how to properly apply a relaxer without causing severe hair breakage and/or damage. I have had some really bad experiences in the past. Does anyone know a stylist that they are familiar with their work and trust them to apply a relaxer to their hair in the NYC area? Thanks.
