This is my update.
Unfortunately,i don;t have any real before pics,as i joined LHCF after i found growafrohairlong.com,and i was laready in braids, and not about to take them out:nono:
I do have a pic of my cut in my profile, and i'll try to find one more.
Oh and i've had 5 trims during the time i found lhcf and now

These aren;t showing up,so i'll post links instead
The seond shot here is my problem spot, where i pluck hair from when i'm stressed...
The reason for the straight shots is because i tried to texturize with a kiddie texturizer, and my hair came out bone straight...it never got that straight with a relaxer...
My ends are not that split, that's how it looks after i flat ironed with my sisters 13 dollar flat iron(shrugs)

More straight shots after the texturizer, and the last few are before the texturizer, when i had about an inch of new growth, with next day pin curled hair.

OMG!!! When I looked at this I thought...is that me, I just had to take a double take. We have matching problem areas. Well yours has filled in, I am still working on mine. But my hair was thinning and broken in that same area. And another funny thing is I had my hair that color, kind of burgundy on top like yours.

What did you do to get your trouble spot to grow in like that? And how long did it take?

I will post my pics just to show you. I recently used henna/indigo to try to mask the spot a little, seemed to help make my hair stronger.

Congratulations:grin:

Thank you hunny!I've been having problems with that area since the beginning of the year:nono:

It was fine when i had my braids consistently, but i've been switching it up since January.
Co-washes,moisturizing and MT have helped a lot.I tried to keep the relaxer away from there as much as possible when i had one last, but i put the texturizer on it(because i didn;t know it would straighten like that:ohwell:).
I'm still working on it though:yep:
Good luck HUN!
Thanks again:yep:
EDIT:Also,i CONSTANTLY tug at it...

:grin:Keep up the good work, and by next year you might be near shoulder or apl.
Actually,i'm hoping to be full shoulder by the end of the year:look:

I have had a good 3 inches cut off, more than half of which was unnecessary.
One time was in a drunken stupor, where i combed it straight out,and got to cutting...another two times was a stylist feeling like it was that time:rolleyes:
