Worst Shampoo: Pantene Relaxed & Natural- A dry stripped mess is what I got

Worst Conditioner- Garnier Fructis Fortifying Deep Conditioner

Worst Gel- Fantasia Frizz Buster Gel- I used to love this stuff but now it leaves a ton of flakes in my hair.

Worst Relaxer- Elasta Qp Lye- I had a head full of new growth within two weeks!

Most Overhyped Products- Surge Hair Revitalizer 14 & Suave Milk & Honey Conditioner

Worst shampoo: Neutrogena (the kind they have at the hotels)- drying.

Worst conditioner: Suave Professionals Awapuhi - for some reason, when I tried it, my scalp itched like crazy.

Worst gel: Fantasia sparkling gel - didn't hold back the frizzies and I think it caused breakage.

Worst leave-in: Suave Professional Awapuhi - again - it makes my scalp itch.

Worst Condtioner: Redken Smooth Down Conditioner (This stuff is garbage. So drying! The Smooth Down Butter Treat is much better!)

Overrated Product: Elasta Qp Mango Butter/Suave Milk and Honey ( They just didnt agree with my hair /images/graemlins/frown.gif )

Worst Setting Lotion: Motions Conditioning Setting Lotion ( I left my hair feeling sticky)

Anoop Hair Oil(left my hair smelling like an ashtry, even after washing)- I flushed this stuff it was so bad...

Most Overated Product

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Mask - Didn't do much to my hair, had to mix it with Motions CPR to get some decent results

Nature's Blessing Hair Pomade-after much careful consideration and hunting this stuff down like an animal, it was not worth the time and effort, that stuff ain't nothing but colored vaseline, all it did was sit on my scalp and moved me closer to a wash day I was itching so bad..

I have to agree with Sassy, Dr. Miracle and his stuff, anybody can dilly of some vaseline and call it hair grease, but a miracle, ah, I don't think so....sooo Dr. Miracle it's time to go back to the lab, don't give up your day job...

Suave conditioners (any flavor) did absolutely nothing for me. I am most dissapointed by Frederic Fekkai Moisturizing Conditioner w/ Shea Butter. That sucka sent me back 30 bucks, but at least my mother loves it. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Ditto. I think my bottles were rancid from having sat on the shelf at Sally's BSS for too long. The thick oil glued my new growth in clumps. I gave up on extending the relaxer and went in for a touchup the next day. My stylist wanted to know what stinky glue was in my hair.

MonaLisa I think what your saying is something we all have thought at some point. You are really taking a gamble when trying something on this board that others rave about. I have wasted a little money on stuff that was sooooooooo hyped up on this board but in turn was nothing but junk. The key is finding what really works for you and sticking with it.

So far(I haven't used everything in the arsenal yet), it's just been the VO5 Strawberries and Cream Con. My hair hated it. It was just like adding water to already wet hair.
