Steamer curious. I got questions

I've been searching for threads about using steamers and well... for first time in history I cant seem to find the answer to my questions. So I gotta ask my questions.

1) Those of you who do use a steamer, how many times per week or per month do you use it?

2) Is it a must to have oil mixed with the conditioner?

3) When going under the steam should my ends be tucked in?

4) Any other advice as to what works and what doesn't?

I heard some ladies tried steaming with a conditioner it didnt work, other with a contioner & oil and it failed. Finally some simply steam with an oil that hair likes no conditioner involved. What works

5) Does it cut down shedding???? Especially for relaxed ladies.

I have huetiful table top steamer I love it. I use it 2x a week for my hair and i use the facial attachment 1 or 2x a week sometimes.
I mix my conditioner with oil either sunflower or hempseed
You have to figure out what works best for your hair conditioner and oil is fine for me.
There is a steam challenge thread don't know if this helps

I steam x2 per week. Nothing is needed except a Deep Conditioner (and Water).

With the Steamer I have, Distilled Water is Required.

ETA: IMO if you are using a Good Deep Conditioner, you shouldn't have to add Oils etc...to your steam treatment. This winter I've added Coffee underneath.

Just to cut out an additional step in my Regi. Not because I felt the Conditioner(s) I use needed any help.

It defintely infuses Moisture.

btw: I'm Relaxed as well. Also, visit the Steam Challenge Thread.:yep:
