Stretchers---Hairstyles Please!!!!

I recently joined the stretching challenge; however, I'm not sure what to do (hairstyle-wise) with my APL hair. I'm currently wearing wigs, but I don't want to wear throughout my entire stretch (due to relax in July). Also, because I work in a law firm, I cannot wear corn rolls. While they are cute, I don't think I can pull them off as being professional. I love buns, but all that new growth really prevents it from looking nice.

So, for all of you who stretch, please share your daily hairstyles. I need help to get through this push.

Thanks ladies!!!

Braid-outs, and wet bunning will help you for the rest of your stretch. If you are texlaxed then you can do wash and go's

When i stretch i still wear my hair out like I normally do, I straw set would probably be good and I think they last long.

and headbands, they are very trendy now, the thin headbands.

Welp cowashing might be your best friend, I would just do the scarf method to dry and sport buns, or phony pony's. I am gonna link you to the phony pony thread there are a whole lot of creative ideas in that thread.

One sister even sewed three tracks in so that she could have a pony sew in- here are her pics.....

OP, I don't know how conservative the firm you work at is or what the culture is like, but MANY associate attorneys and even female partners at the top firms in the country come to my law school to recruit and they wear big fros, braids, cornrows, and other natural styles. I'm in the DMV area, so almost every AA female attorney I meet has natural hair and it's very widely accepted. I have also met male associate attorneys with cornrows.

Again, I guess it does depend on your office and what you're comfortable with. However, a lot of times we say it's the environment, when it is actually us.

Sorry I can't help. I just wear buns and updos when stretching, or get my hair blown straight. I hope to try braidouts this summer.

Thank you for all the responses--keep them coming! Regarding the corn rolls, it is part me that is uncomfortable with wearing them out; however, the Firm that I work for is predominately white, so I don't think the corn roll look will fit into their corporate image.

Unfortunately, to keep my job, I have to do what works

I love all of your fake ponys. I bought the mane clip a while back but couldn't get it to work correctly. Maybe I was trying to add too much hair. The part that is suppose to go between the clip stuck out above the clip itself. Any suggestions as to how much hair to use?

The lady's video seems to use a lot of hair.
