Under-hair Care

Hi Ladies!!!

I was just wondering about how the ladies who wear human hair weaves manage and maintain their hair underneath while still styling the top. What is your regimen for your own hair under the weave? Do you still wash and condition? Do you apply any moisturizers to the roots? How often? As much feedback as possible is appreciated, as I am interested in getting one myself, but I'm really curious as to how I should care for it first.

Personally, I take care of my hair underneath my weaves but I generally don't leave any hair out. I wash/condition using diluted products and make sure I rinse really really well. Then I moisturize, usually daily, with water and shea butter or castor oil or whatever is around.
