@IDareT'sHair
Will do Ms. T!

I used the Siamese Twists Essential Hair Creme last wash and my hair is soft, supple, and not greasy despite my heavy hand (I used around a golf ball sized dollop of butter per section, I have no shame in my heavy hand game :giggle:). No dryness in sight so far.
I have 50,000,001 butters in the closet that I need to get to using and wash day is my best bet to get it done.

I'm going to try this again:

Cleanse:

African Black Soap Shampoo
SheaTerra Ghassoul Shampoo Bar
Conditioners:
Dr. Bronners Citrus Hair Conditioning Rinse
Devacurl Decadence One Conditioner
Deep Conditioners:
UBH Deep Conditioner
Naturelle Grow Marshmallow Root, Slippery Elm Bark & Cinnamon Deep Conditioner
(use up other DC that I have in stash)
Protein:
Aphogee 2 Step

I Will not buy anymore products until Black Friday sales!

@charmtreese

Hey Ms. Charm:wave:

What is your opinion so-far of the TRUE Product Line? I keep putting them in & taking them back out a Sally Cart.:look: *waiting on reviews*

What do you like so far and what would be a repurchase?

Hey T,

I've tried everything except for the Shampoo, for the most part I feel that this is a really solid hair care line. If I was talking to someone who was new to caring for their hair and wanted a place to start I would suggest this line.

Cleansing Conditioner: I was a huge WEN fan and since the whole WEN scare I have shy'd away from Cleansing Conditioners (CC) in general. I'm just starting to revisit them now. I felt that this product did a good job a cleaning my hair. It had that frothy CC type feel once worked in with water. It didn't make my hair tangle or hard nor did it make my hair feel soft or moisturized. It kind of just cleaned my hair with no real wow factor. I will finish the bottle but probably will not repurchase.

Masque: Again this was a decent product. However, I was not wowed...when it comes to Deep Conditioners (DC) my hair is really picky. My hair finds most DC underwhelming, so I'm not blaming the product.

Leave-in: Now this stuff here, let me just say it offers plenty of slip and detangling power. This product for me is the star of the line. It has a creamy silky feel and can be worked through the hair with ease. If you use the LOC method it could be used as the L or C. It plays well with other products, doesn't leave any weird residue or flakes....I love this stuff!!

Hydrating Hair Butter - This is a really nice product as well. It's more of a cream than a butter, I've used it on wet and dry hair and it does a great job at moisturizing and keeping my hair moisturized.

Quench Curl Refresher- Since I started using this product, I've retired my other spray moisturizers. I use this spray daily to add moisture to my twist. It does a great job at keeping my hair feeling soft and hydrated.

Styling Cream- I used this for the first time yesterday. If feels a lot like the leave-in, a very silky creamy texture. This morning my hair was shiny and soft, so far I like it, however the verdict is still out until I untwist my hair.

Cleanse: Terresentials Lemon and/or Lavendar
Co-wash: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle
DC/Leave-In: I revisited my KCKT/coconut water mix yesterday and am pleased. I'll be sticking w/this.
Seal: Argan Oil or a mix of KCCC and flax seed gel an Instagrammer raved about.

Cream of Nature Detangling shampoo (green bottle)
Chi Keratin Mist
Liquid Gold oil
Garnier Sleek and Shine Cream
Oil blend (castor, evoo, almond)
Kerastase Therapiste Mask

Eta Kerastase Oleo Relax mask

@NaturallyATLPCH
Something sweet, fruity smell, coconut smell, suntan oil smell or Healthy Sexy Pumkin Puree smell. I don't like the natural shea butter smell or Amla oil smell and I'm not all that keen on the Nature's blessings. Either ground or online is fine. However, I find that online quantities are too small, I need at least 16 ounces. It doesn't have to be all natural but I don't want to many silicones either. I'm not too particular. Bottom line is something that will be pleasing to my SO when he sticks his nose in my hair at night :)

Thanks!

I'm going to be almost exclusively using Shea Moisture products from now til January.

SM Curl and Shine Shampoo & Conditioner
SM Curl Enhancing Smoothie
SM JBCO hair masque
SM Manuka Honey Hair Masque

WGO for my sides and nape

Mielle Organics vitamins (just ordered a 2 months supply...hoping for at least 2 inch boost from them(an inch per month) and help with reducing shedding.

EcoStyler or Xtreme Wetline gels.

DC (PT days)
Bee Mine Deep Conditioner
SD Raspberry Coconut Affair
Obia Babassu Deep Conditioner
SWG Strawberry Milkshake Solid Conditioner Bar (melted & mixed up with coconut milk; only have one bar, figured I can hold myself accountable here to use it)

Post-Wash Sealants
MHC Buttery Soy

Siamese Twists Ginger Cream Cheese Hair Frosting
BRB Pumpkin Whip Butter (old formula)
(decided to try sealing with butters on wash day instead of silicone serums for a little bit to see how I like it)

Ughhh I was reminded why I haven't used up the 2.5 jars of Obia Babassu Deep Conditioner in my stash- no slip and inadequate moisturizing. I wonder if it's worth adding some herbs and oils to it so I can use it up or if I should just find the unopened jars new homes where they will be loved. Meanwhile, it's off the list & SD Raspberry Coconut Affair is taking its place.

Hair still doesn't appear to be a fan of MHC Buttery Soy. Still makes my hair a little hard, thinking my hair isn't a fan of soybean oil/butter since none of the other ingredients have caused me issues before. I'll hold out a little longer to see if it does better with another DC. Otherwise, I'll find it a new home too. Adding BRB Pumpkin Whip Butter (old formula) just in case.
