I woke up to some good news today which is gonna basically set me up to do my own business, something which I really prayed on.

So I get to work and 3 people have already tested me to the limit. I'm so vex beyond belief, and even so more vex that my good news has been overshadowed by 3 individuals, one being my mother, pi**ing me off. I need some salvation now, because if one other person crosses my path all hell is gonna break lose in here.

But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. ~ 2 Timothy 2:23

17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends upon you, live peaceably with all. 19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord." 20 No, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. ~ Romans 12:17-21

Not sure if these are along the lines of what you are looking for?

You know what, after I wrote that I realized it was going to come across like that. :lachen:

So let me be clear, Congrats on your uh... business venture... yeah, yeah that's it...;)

Romans 14:13 - Let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occassion to fall in his brother's way.

1 Corinthians 8:12 - But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

Psalms 62:3-6 - How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

In your anger do not sin, Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.

Ephesians 4:26-27

I had to use this one the other night when I was ready to wring my brother's neck for sure:

Psalm 37:8: Cease from anger, forsake wrath; do not fret--it only causes harm

Ok, I always thought this thread title was hilarious. But today when the architect lost his mind and thought he could act up with me, I almost lost it. It took me a couple of minutes to calm down. This thread title came to mind and made me laugh again.

Lord, you know I need to meditate on these scriptures right now!
