With her Maker

A dear friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer not too long ago. She developed Pneumonia and a second cancer and died after three weeks of suffering.

When she first heard she was terminal, she said to her translator to tell the doctor: "I am in God's hands now." The doctor was visibly shaken and left the room.

I am happy she no longer suffers and had faith in God but I do miss her so and struggle with her death and suffering and her young age.

Thanks ladies. Her husband came to church alone for the first time today and it tore me up! The last few weeks he was at the hospital/hospice with her and last week his family & friends were in town for the funeral so he was surrounded by people.

I was worried I was taking it harder than even he was but today I saw he is really hurting. I think now that the funeral is over and he is alone in that big house the reality is setting in.
