hey ladies! Summer is coming really fast and the weather is heating up really fast! What are you planning to use to keep your gorgeous locks well hydrated??

Please post the names of the products you are planning to use and a mini regimen.

Thanks!!

I'm juicing so that is my main staple also I'm using Qhemet biologics burdock root butter cream and increasing my co-washing. I'm keeping it lite and simple.

Easy...
I use Vo5 kiwi clarifying condish for co-washing, Aussie moist condish for co-washing, and dr.bronner's castile soap cut with aloe vera juice for my 1x a month shampoo.

After I "cleanse" with the above products, I load up my hair with Pantene curls conditioner (don't rinse out), seal it with olive oil, grease, or vaseline, and then style with KCCC or eco-styler gel.

I have done twists, twist-outs, bananna clip ponies, and wash n go's...

HTH

I will try to use my aphogee 2-min reconstructor 1 a week (haven't yet), but I took a shed hair the other day, and couldn't even snap that thang'! So my balance seems perfect right now.

Mainly lots of conditioner and "juice".

These are Conditioners I want to try for Co-Washing:
-Suave Almond & Shea Butter
-Giovanni Smooth as Silk
-Organix Mocha Madness
-Organix Shea Butter
-Tresseme Moisture Rich
-La Bomba
-Crece Pelo
-Baba de Caracol

And i'm gonna keep using my White Rain Lavender-Vanilla conditioner.....it smells SO good!!!:lick:

And i want to try the Organix shampoos and the Giovanni Smooth as Silk shampoo...i really wanna get back on Hair One tho.

I'm going to be putting my Qhemet AOHC back into rotation and also adding Aveda DR Daily Repair leave in. Depending on the weather this summer (and my hair's attitude, of course), I may have to make other changes, but I hope not.

I am planning to Wig-It All Summer (ya'll pray for me in this heat:blush:) Anyway, I'll be:

Co-Washing w/a Variety of Conditioners

Clarifying at least every 4-6 Weeks

Using a Reconstructor Weekly

Deep Conditioning under Steamer with a Variety of DC'ers

And Lots, and lots of Moisture (under my netted wig cap). So Far, I am using KBB Hair Milk, JC Nourishing Cream, Dudley's PCA Moisture Retainer *and I have a few other creamy's on stand-by to get me through the Summer*

Honestly, the Regimen remains the same, however, the Products may vary.:yep:

So far just co-washing everyday and using my generic Paul Mitchell leave-ins.
Clarifying with Infusium Moisturologie and DCing with Queen Helene cholesterol (need to find a new DC)
Maybe adding some glycerin in my conditioners.

I'll use my VO5 conditioners for co-washing and my favorite oils, coconut and avocado. In addition, I'll keep using my leave-ins: HR LTR and NTM Silky Touch and my fave dc'ing hair mask: NTM Deep Recovery Mask.

im doing a lot of co washing with anything but mostly aussie moist.
using kbb hair milk as my leave in
a lot of coconut oil and monoi de tahiti oil
afroveda pur whipped gelly for my gel
qhemet brbc for moisture
kbb hair cream for moisture.

Going to keep it really really simple. Exclusively Tresemme moisture rich and naturals for co washes. Only thing I want is moisture and nice smelling hair.

I'll basically use the same products & keep my same routine.

The only real difference will be that the JC Hair Nourishing Cream will be replaced w/ the JC Nourish & Shine or the Opal Hue Honey Love Pomade.

I'm also going to try to learn how to do flat twists so that the front of my hair will be laying down. I'll keep the twist-out for the back.

Juicing with S-curl
Conditioning washes
Moisturizing with Proline softner moisturizer

@Bolded. I forgot to mention Ya'll: I plan to use Dominican & Brazilian Products exclusively during July, August & September.

I'll break out my DR Deep Conditioners and my Skala Stash for those months.:yep:

My main staple which is Kenra Moisturising conditioner and shampoo. Loving hair my feels right now.

For cowashes VO5 conditioners

Sealing with evoo or evco. That's all.

I'm going to be doing co-washes 3-4 times a week and more diligent about using mega-tek at least 3 times per week. Right now I am refusing to buy any more poos or conditioners until I get rid of my heavy stash. Aubrey Org HSR and White Camellia, Giovanni's Smooth as Silk, Silk Elements Olive Oil poo and condish, KCCC Knot Today and Come Clean are all apart of my stash. I plan to shampoo every 3 to 4 weeks to remove build-up. I have been doing overnight baggies of Scurl, mega-tek, Qhem Biol Amla & Olive heavy cream and sealing with Amla or Vatika oil.

I think that's enough to nourish and grow my TWA. Grow baby Grow!

Im going on an ayurvedic challenge this summer. Starting the 1st Thursday in June I will use:
Coconut Oil
Vatika Frosting
Amla
Shikakai
Henna (once a month)

Black tea rinse (1-2x per month)

Co-Wash with anything 2x per week

Massage my scalp 3x per week with castor oil

Deep Condition with Hairveda Sitrinillah (1x per week)

Leave in water/glycerine or knot today (still trying out different leave in combos)

Seal w/ coconut oil

Sounds like a lot, but I promise it will be simple lol. I will do this until September 1 to see my progress. I will take a 2 week weave break in between (for a special o) and keep the party goin thereafter!

I wont be doing anything different since its summer here 24/7. I love to cowash with a variety of conditioners (skala,vo5,suave,wen, aussie moist, vs,bath and body, mane and tail, soy milk). Alternating moisture and protein.

I am in box braids now so I can cowash daily. Going into another install in July so maybe I will cowash only 2x a week since it takes my hair so long to dry.

I will also be juicing daily and dcing every sunday(wen, kanechon, serious conditioner, aussie) and on that day I will also do a garlic treatment.

When hair is not in a PC I will do a serious protein treatemnt with either Aphogee or Dudley DRC followed by a moisture dc.

My dc are always with steam.

Wow I have said a mouthful.

I'm definitely co-washing several times a week and I just found some bottles of blended beauty products in my things. I'll try that and see how it goes... plus I juice 2X a day

Okay, that was fast. After the hot as all h*** day we just had, I will be cowashing as soon as I get home from work this morning!!! :nono: I'm going to use Amala Creme Rinse and Moist 24/7. :lick:
