Well, I blowdried my hair (Pic is now in thread, People, lol)

and I got the ends trimmed the next day (very much needed.) Now I don't know what the heck to do with it. I actually want to wash it out and go back to the norm for me, my textured hair. The only style I could think of was to put it in four braids. I've tried twists, flat twists, a bun, etc. It's been a' flipping and a'flopping everywhere.

How do you ladies style your hair once it's straightened, more particularly, blow dried?

Where the pic at? :look: lol no i'm kidding (no i'm not) but when i blow dried it made it so much easier to bun and such and was like having super stretched hair. How bout do some stretched twist/braidouts?

But really, the last time I did a blow out I turned it into a braid out. I used a butter for some control and it worked pretty well as long as I re-braided it every night. It was pretty hot under there so I sweated my hair out a little, but it did hold up for about a week. It felt strange because I haven't worn my hair out in a long time, (not to mention shocking a few people), but it worked out. I probably won't do it again until next summer. Its supposed to rain later this week and once the rain starts, straight hair is out of the question in PDX until the summer. :lachen: I'm not that diligent with head coverings and umbrellas.

I never know what to do with straight hair myself especially since it reverts back so quickly on me. It you used a butter for bantu knots or put in curls with rollers or flexirods, you can get a nice full curly look I imagine. But your buns must be huge so that's a big positive at least.

Your hair is amazing!!!! I can't wait for you to upload that video!

How about pin curls? I always enjoy styling my hair like that when its straight.

I'd like to see the video. Why don't you like it. You should wear it like it is in the picture. Actually blowdried hair is versatile, so you could wear it anyway you like. 4 large bantu knots (secure w/pony sox pontail holder), or 4 large braids or twists and do an awesome "out" style. Or you can put it in med/large (or small if you like) twists or braids. So much to do.

Bubblingbrownshuga Wow beautiful!!!
If you like your curls just go back to your beautiful curls. If not, enjoy the length for a few days. I would have flatironed for a more polished look and slapped it up in a ponytail.
