= SUPER SOFT & STRONG HAIR!!! I was completely amazed at how hair (not to mention strong) my hair felt after using this combination. The conditioner alone is amazing. My detangling was virtually effortless and my hair felt so strong. The conditioner promises to restore the hair's natural elasticity. Well, it's only my first time using it, but it certainly did seem to give me some results, and I'm lovin' it!! I'm only disappointed that I didn't buy a bigger jar of this stuff. Ladies, I'm telling you, that Avacado Hair Conditioner is luscious. And not to mention very cost efficient. I paid $4 for my 8oz jar and it was well worth those $4. Suffice it say that I will be reordering this stuff. This time, in a bigger jar!!

I have been looking at this from another thread. Now I am sold because I saw your other post for your braid out and your hair is amazingly beautiful so if you say it is great it must be.....on my way to sickbay.

thanks:lick:

 I'm no expert, but thanks anyway.....just to let you know, I got mine from beautyofnewyork.com. Very reasonable prices, great customer service, and super fast shipping. I had my order in 2 days. I love that site. I've been experimenting with different dominican products, and I decided to try those 2 together tonight. I'm glad I did b/c it turned out great.

I loooove this conditioner. It really does what it says it would do. I usually use this in my mixture of conditioners when I henna or do protein treatments. They really help the elasticity in my hair. I'v never tried the rinse though

Thats is great, because this is exactly what I am focusing on. My elastiscity comes and goes as it wants I dont have any control over it...yet. I cannot wait.

Thanks a bunch. I really like ibeautyofnewyork.com. It is very easy to become a pj in that place. I had to order and leave with the quickness. I went to Sally's earlier today. I am done shopping for hair products at least until next payday.

This is why I love beautyofnewyork! You can buy the 8 oz. size of a lot of stuff for $3.99 and test it out and if you like it you can buy the bigger one next time. That way you aren't stuck w/a 16 oz + jar of something you don't like! I'm glad you like the aguacate products!

How did you use them?

After I washed my hair with poo, I slathered on the avacado hair conditioner and left it on for about 20 minutes (the jar says 10-15). I covered it with a plastic cap and my twistie turban (I didn't feel like sitting under the dryer). I rinsed it out and my hair was super soft. I massaged the avacado rinse over my hair while it was still wet, trying to gently detangle my hair (and yes, detangling was pretty much effortless). I left the rinse on for about 3 minutes and then rinsed it out. It was amazing. I really like that combo.

Yup!! That's exactly what I did. I ordered smaller jars of the conditioners so that I could try them out just in case I didn't like them. So far, I'm liking everything I've tried. Now, there may be a few products I won't reorder anytime soon, but there are definitely someones I'm putting on my re-stock list!!

Why oh why did I see this post? :wallbash: My favorite site is iBeautyNY.

I just ordered this in the large size and restocked my Jane Carter products. I love Jane Carter's Nourish & Shine...

Just when I thought I had conquered my PJism....
And why am I thinking about buying a Pibbs? :nono:

I've been talking about that conditioner for years and noone listened to me (except for hair boards). This conditioner is definitely slept on and I'd like to keep it that way so there will be more for me!

Sorry anky:grin: But I've found it now and I'm so glad I did, I definitely will be ordering more of that stuff. It's really delish:lick:

ItZ True!

I used this today after doing my protien treatment,
I applied condishioner with heat cap for 15 min. I put on a hat to hold in the heat for another 15 minutes. I rinsed out the condish. I put in the rinse and combed through straight. I left in 5 min while in shower and rinsed.

This stuff is the bom...it makes your hair feel so good that I was like do I really need leave in. I put in my Salerm leave in did a partial airdry and sealed the ends. Finished up with a cool blow dryer and wraped the rest. After the blow dryer my hair was mega soft and had a lot of body. I CANNOT wait to take my hair down tomorrow.

Thanks Miss Cherokee!

:update: Another reviewer reporting in!

Used the Capilo Avocado conditioner last night (did not purchase the rinse) on my fine/thin hair.
  • I 'pooed with Nexxus Therappe and finished off with Creme of Nature.
  • Applied the Capilo Avocado and let sit for total of 40 minutes (last 15 minutes w/heat)
  • Rinsed and detangled
  • Applied Lacio Lacio as a leave-in
  • Applied Chi Silk Infusion
  • Sealed with JBCO, air dried to damp and tied hair down with scarf and wore my hair in a protective style
Result: Soft, hydrated hair with elasticity! Just as promised.
The scent was nice, not as strong as Silicon Mix and the consistency was light and fluffy; buy you could still feel the avocado oiliness which I prefer.
I LOVE IT!
:love2:
I only applied a little more moisturizer and JBCO on my edges and I will see how it feels tonight after a long day. I also think this iwill be a perfect
pre-henna/indigo treatment conditioner.

Yeah it sounds good, but do you know if it has mineral oil or petroleum in it? Not to say I still wouldn't buy it but just curious to know

You're welcome stella!! Glad to know that it works for ya. I'm ordering the larger jar next time!!

Grreeeaaaaattttt!! Avacado oil gives you a wonderful shine anyway, so that's an extra benefit that comes along with the conditioner. Not to mention that it's good for hydrating dry, thirsty hair!!

Yeah it sounds good, but do you know if it has mineral oil or petroleum in it? Not to say I still wouldn't buy it but just curious to know

yes almost all of them contain petroleum and mineral oil and lanolin. I have bought a few of them, and they seem to have all similar makeup, except for the main ingredient, like avocado, or milk and honey.

Okay thanx guys but I'm confused about which it is. Is it Capilo Avocado cond. were talking about or Nacidit? or are they the same thing?

*sigh* I am on the beautyofnewyork.com website and the conditioner along with the praital silk worm rinse is in my cart

Yes, it does have mineral oil but no petrolatum/petroleum (don't really know the difference).

Just as a FYI, the third ingredient on every site and jar I've seen of Capilo Avocado deep conditioner the third ingredient is petroleum which is the same as vaseline. I have capilo conditioners i.e. whale sperm where the third ingredient is also stated as vaseline. That would be cool if they eliminated the vaseline, lately though.
