CHI Silk Infusion - An absolute HIT. I tried it for the first time this weekend and my hair is fabulous. So light and silky :yep:. A DEFINATE keeper.

Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose conditioner

I finally tried it after years of hearing about it on the board and I love it; It provided a lot of moisture and slip.

Yall are right....
I am being really good too!!!

:yep:

I've bought by pail, gallon, liter and bogo these past six months...so I'm pretty stocked up conditioner wise...

but I will restock on smaller sizes (8/16 oz) of something I like and use. Not too much trying out of new product...keeping it simple and consistent for '09...

I will try the Pantene Nature Fusion...and perhaps the Naked Naturals (I actually was looking at the other day) since Gym/LovelyLionessa put their blessing on it...will be looking for a sale and coupons..

and I'm wondering if you found an old bottle of White Rain or the new joint they have on the shelves now (where I believe they messed with my beloved formulation of years that was just fine)

Back on topic...

Again consistent hits for me...

I swear the Hairveda SitriNillah conditioner on dry hair overnight mixed with my oils [including the 4.50 bootleg oil from Oilgate '09]/murumuru butter and Yes to Carrots mask have my almost 12 wks post hair content. :)

Moist 24/7 Pro conditioner with my Joico Intense Hydrator mix... :)

WEN Fig...yeah, I said it... :)

It's also been quite fond of the Lustrasilk shea butter chloesterol plus with mango :)

I don't think a thread has been started yet.

Hits
Hairveda's Methi Sativa Recovery System
greek yogurt, wheat protein, and Hairveda's Cocasta & Shikakai Oil as a protein condish
Chagrin Valley's Mud & Clay Shampoo Bar

Can you give a mini review of the bolded? What is it supposed to do and why is it on your hit parade?

It is a protein treatment with two steps so I believe similiar to Aphoghee or Joico. Step 1 is a protein masque and it smells :nono:. Step 2 is a recovery conditioner and it smells :lick:. It made my hair soft & moisturized but strong. A plus is that I love the recovery condish so much that I think I may cowash with every now & again. HTH.

HIT: Mill Creek Jojoba Condish - bought some yesterday and moisturized w/ it last night, sealed w/ Hairveda Vatika Frosting and I can't stop touching my new growth. Can't wait to DC w/ it tomorrow.

MISS: Silk Elements Olive oil Deep treat - trying to get away from the cones; after I solve my moisture/breakage issues I may revisit.

Hit:
Pantene Nature Fusion leave-in: great for rollersets

This has got to be a new product by Pantene. I haven't seen it here in the Bahamas as yet but I will be keeping my eyes open for it and as it stands, I am in need of a good rollerset leave-in too:yep:.

Hits:
Joico Moisture Recovery Balm
ORS Replenishing Pak (old news I know)
ALL shampoo diluted and used from an applicator bottle to the scalp only
Fantasia Hair Strengthener Treatment (a well kept secret from Fantasia; will literally save your ends if you don't want to cut)

Misses:
Redken Smooth Down Detangling Creme
Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide (protects but is too heavy; Chi SI better)
Hairveda Almond Glaze (smells nice, nice oils, but has petrolatum)
Garnier Fructis leave-in (did nothing for my hair)
QP Mango Butter (a real disappointment; too much protein, made my hair stiff)

Very interesting technique (bolded) I'm sure going to start doing this. Oh, how I love stumbling on gems like these :yep:
