SLEEK- Anyone know anything about it

Hi everybody,

I had a hairdresser use this stuff to blow dry straight my very curly mixed -race hair. She did a great job but I wonder how much had to do with the stuff she used - SLEEK.

Could anyone recommend this product for me to use at home or is it harder than I remember?

My hair is very thick and curly. Length is to just below my shoulder blades when wet and probably at least a 1/2 foot longer when straightened. Although I have had it styled like that since when I last saw my hairdresser.

Thanks for reading and I welcome any suggestions.

Welcome to the forum!

The only product I know is Matrix Sleek...they sell it at Walgreens & CVS (at least they do around my house) I haven't tried it but a friend of mines said it worked for her.

Yes, the only product i know is matrix sleek looks. There is a whole system. I have 4a/b hair and whenever i get a roller set at the Cape verdian salon they use the smoothing balm in my hair as a leave in. My Roller set comes out really smooth and silky. They do sell it at cvs and you could get it at target too or trade secret

Thanks for all the replies. I've actually found this item on sale at EBAY for bulk sizes but wanted to know more before I bought it.

If anyone knows what the best way to use the shampoo conditioner and balm please let me know. For example, should I use a heat cap etc?

Thanks
