Is not because I am Dominican but honestly Dominican conditioner are one of the best out there, most of us with Dominican hair know what I am talking about, usually our hair require a lot of moisture I don't matter if are a natural like me of if ur hair is process hair ( excuse my spelling) the point is that we need a lot of slip in our hair and I don't know what the put on those Dominican treatment But for me and for alot of other people works wonder, I used to live in new jersey but I moved to Georgia about 4 month ago and here is very hard to find Dominican products, I mean comparing to new jersey that u would find the in every Corner.
About a month of so ago I went to my country and tried a few products I never tried before, and boy let me tell u I love them and when I looked at the prize I love them even more lol I will list them in no particular order:

Esperma de ballena( whale sperm) yes I know..
La bomba ( the bomb) it is the bomb, lol
Baba de caracol (can't even translate) intense treatment.
Colesterol( cholesterol)
Canela y sabila( cinnamon and aloe vere)
Crece pelo ( grow hair) is great for hair growth)
Silicon mix ( mix silicone)
Gusano de seda ( silk worm) one of my favorites.
Emergencies ( emergency) deep deep treatment, great.
Dr. Cabello (hair doctor)
Toque magico ( magic touch) really good.
Lacio lacio ( straight straight) great if u gonna flat iron it.
Kerastase ( not translation) really good
Alopecil ( really good for people dealing with alopecia)
Miel y almanacs ( honey and almonds) super.
Suela y canela ( cinnamon and suela) really good

There is a lot more to list, and I've seen a lot of people complaining how hard it is to get them specially if you are far from new York or new jersey, and a lot of people sell them knowing how hard it is to find them so the take advantage of others selling them really expensive, they overpriced them by alot, plush they charge shipping and of course they got to make their money, but trust me there are not that expensive in real life, i bought a few of each and I am in Stockbridge GA so if you are interest let me know, I also gonna be doing reviews while I used them to let you all know how it goes, if u need to talk to me private message me for my number.....
I'll be around...

True, I love Dominican conditioners, but I usually buy from Bluebeez.com. They have pretty reasonable prices and OK shipping.

Check out the Domincan hair salons. That's where I've seen them in the past.

I live close to Buford Hwy and my local Walmart has Dominican products. I just realized that two weekends ago.

Is it the Walmart on Peachtree Industrial?

ETA to say that the Bronner Bros. hair show has a vendor that sells products on the low! If you can hold out until February, you can stock up!

Salerm usually has a booth where you can buy the leave-in for only $5.

I'm still working on stash I bought last year.

I've never tried Dominican hair products. Are they really better than American products?

Yep. It seems like everything in that store written in Spanish. :lachen: Next time I'm in need of hair products, I'll go in there and see what I can score.

Bumping in 2013 for updates re places in Georgia to pick up Dominican Products -- many of the salons don't sell them or have high margins, C&C Beauty Supply doesn't carry, nothing in Walmart/Walgreens ... Hate to spend that S&H at Amazon and would like to browse so any suggestions re local spots would be appreciated.
