Products you like that you don't hear of anyone else using

lesedi

All is well with me
I have noticed that my must-have products are not really used by anyone else on the forum or by people IRL either.
A lot of the time, only the popular products get any airplay and there could very well be some hidden gems that don't get the praise they deserve.

Please name your must-have products and describe the positive effects they have on your hair.
homemade recipes are also very welcome:yep:

Mine:

1) Dark and lovely ultra cholesterol - this dc really works for me cos it really infuses moisture in my strands. I don't even care that it has mineral oil in it.

2) Motions silk protein conditioner- My hair feels uber soft and strong after this DC

3) Aphogee Green Tea and keratin reconstructor spray- Lubs this:lick: Stops me from having to do as many protein treatments. It also makes my curls pop like crazy

Great thread. I agree there are products that don't get much airplay. Can't wait to read what others use.

I love Taliah Waajid's herbal conditioner. Gets my dry, brittle hair soft and moisturized with just 20 minutes under a plastic cap.

If I told you...i'd have to kill you LOL! Naaaah just jokes...The one thing I use that I rarely see anyone mention is White Rain Water Blossom conditioner. I think there is one other lady on here that appreciates it as much as I do!

Elasta QP Soy Oyl conditioner. It does have mineral oil which I try to stay away from but when I'm in a tight I will use it. This stuff makes my hair so soft and silky and completely tangle free. Plus it's super cheap and easy to find. This 32oz tub was only about $8. :yep:

P.S. OP, great thread, by the way!

Great thread OP. I have bought so many things that are highly recommended by everyone and don't work on my hair so this is right on time! And for some reason, my hair loves cones. I don't get it.

I love hollywood beauty olive creme hairdress for dry hair. I never see anyone on lhcf using it but it has great ingredients, lots of oils and vitamins and makes my hair super soft! It's also dirt cheap and most of the reviews online give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Profectiv Damage Free 2 Phase Leave in, it is the only liquid leave in I use after I wash my hair. I have been using it for years because it detangles easily and it doesn't weigh down my hair at all.

Crown Pride Natural line and Wave Nouveau Moisturizing Finishing Mist. Leisure Curl Conditioning Scalp Spray when I can get hold of it. The smell alone take me back to my late teen when I used it.

just started using pomegranate seed oil to seal- it's a great sealant and a little definitely goes a long way. it's light enough to not feel sticky/greasy, but heavy enough to feel like it's doing something.

I use the Live Clean Exotic Nectar Line. It has argan oil(it also has grape seed and olive oil) in it and my hair loves it. It makes my hair super super soft and moisturized. I've never heard of anyone else using it except my white friend who has straight hair, she recommended it to me.

Profectiv products (yeah I said it lol), and I'm starting to hear more people talk about it but Silk Elements products were the best kept secret. Those two lines I couldn't live without.
