@tomnikids3, thanks for posting this video. I have been looking for natural conditioners lately and this looks like a good one. I will give it a try. Too many commercial conditioners are adding the same ingredients found in relaxers lately and I suffered a set back as a result.

I really don't appreciate this post.

Before I respond I would like to know why you don’t appreciate this post? Yes this is my daughter, not sure if that’s the issue. This forum which I been a long time member has been a great help in recommending products and tips for us to educate and help one another so I’m at a loss.

You are welcome, my daughter normally tries a method out a few times before she makes a video to see if it works, her being a natural redhead her hair is very dry, apparently redheads tend to have dry hair. I myself am not a redhead but my hair has been dry due to using the flat iron. I relaxed for almost 30 years and stopped 3 years ago cause the breakage was getting to much. Never thought i could go without relaxing but i shocked myself and did. I found i don't need it.

I am going to be nice as a I can, and I am not trying to be mean. But here is how I see it,

Many youtubers are trying to get likes. So there is a post on the hair forum for "tips" on using aloe vera"

The first 30 second of the videos the person says that they have only be doing this for a short while but has seen a great deal of benefits and hair growth over a again short period of time.

If you are going to claim that I want to see some before and after pictures. This reminds me a certain poster that can't be mentions or you would be banned for even saying her name that post on a hair regemine that again had been used for years but she did a video (with her already long hair) and started a bandwaggon.

I say all that to say if something has done a great job moisterizing your hair and works for you then great BUT the (I want to say false but there is no proof either way) claim that a conditioning method grew out your hair in weeks is not going to get me to like your review esp without before and after and esp considering the time in which you claim the benefit.

There is nothing new in the video that hasn't been done and posted before, which is fine and all of the things in this video are proven to work for conditioning. I will admit that as I have also been using these same things to condition my hair for years.

All of this to say that years ago there was a crack down fairly or unfairly on people trying to peddle their wares on this forum. Now Youtube is the new product and people start threads to attempt to increase their views, something we know is potentially linked to revenue. And this post was done without context without any comments or disclosures on the video itsself. It was posted as click bate.

And that is why I said, I do not appreciate this video. And to the people that will respond then do click on it or do like it. I will not click on such links in the future and I esp did not like this video.

You are entitled to your opinion, my daughter makes no claims that this method grew her hair out in weeks on her YT she's been doing these methods for quite a while and never claimed this was a quick fix and you don't have to like the video presuming the thumb down on it. I take offense to you saying i posted as click bate and I'm peddling something. The title spoke for itself. I have been a member here since 2003 and have seen YT videos posted in this manner and if its something i'm interested in then i click, if not i don't. I have seen claims and posts on products and methods that don't work for me and visa versa so i have the free will and choice not to use and move on no big deal. No one is forcing anyone to view any YT videos here. If you didn't appreciate then you had the choice not to watch. Yes, youtube has been a successful vehicle for a lot of people and a lot of money has been made by some, you like some you don't, just like with TV you watch what you want and what you like, and shows you don't like you don't watch.

So I'm not trying to be disrespectful when i say when you saw this post it's clearly a YT video and in the title of the video "Aloe Vera Deep Conditioner", since you were familiar with using this method then you could have choose not to watch and move on to the next post.
