This is just about the case for me, too. Almost every step of wash day is from a different line. I'm 4a, too.

Lines:

1. The Mane Choice Ancient Egyptian line
2. Komaza Care (the scalp treatment and the protein treatment)

Right now, the two products I'm most pleased with are

1. Jane Carter Solutions Curls To Go! Untangle Me Weightless Leave-in
2. Bronner Brothers Firm Hold Curling Gel

The first one is a magical detangler on my hair, especially once activated with water and in conjunction with the Denman D4.

The latter is amazing on my hair over SM Manuka Honey Leave-in Milk (more a cream than a milk).

The Mane Choice. I can complete a complete wash day with this line.

Second up is TGIN but only some of this line.

I'm slowly incorporating Kerastase.

I used to use the Jane Carter spray when I was relaxed. I liked it a lot maybe I’ll revisit - is the leave in a gel or cream?

Karen’s Body Beautiful—I use four products from this brand, two of them being holy grails, the Moisture Mist and the Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream. I HATE that they stopped selling it at Target. When I run out of my stash I think I will have to resort to buying it online. I’ve never tried her shampoo or conditioners though.

ETA: And maybe Aveda. I don’t use much from them right now but I feel like it is a solid brand that I’ve had good history with.
