Prayer Request - My sister's job may be in jeopardy

Hello Ladies,

Thank you for alwasy being there for me when I needed prayer. You even prayed for the cat and I appreciate that.

I am coming to you again for prayer. You may or may not recall I have come to you in prayer for healing of my mother. She had a problem with her heart and she had a stroke in October. She is recovering well from the stroke. I really don't want to get into details about that.

My sister has been home with my Mom ever since October. taking her to therapy and helping Mom.

The Family Leave Act gives you time ot take off. Well My sister's famly Leave Act time has expired. So my sister has to now go to a hearing
for violating the time. she was told that she would be abole to stay longer. However, now they do not want to give it to heer. There is no one we trust to stay with her and I am not able to do it. My mother may need surgery soon and she needs someone to say home with her.

Please ask the Lord to intervene. Also pray for continual healing for my Mom, and that my sister will be able to continue her leave.

Your family is in my prayers, Zeal! I'm believing that your sister will get the addition time she needs and that your mom will be healed!

Zeal, my heart is with you. Five years ago my sister and I were faced with this same decision. We opted to place my mother in a convelescent home around the corner from where I live. I know black folks don't put the loved one's in homes, but it was the best choice we could have every make. My mother is happy and is living a fuller life than she did before the stroke it also offers my sister and I the opportunity to live ours lives without becoming bitter because we spend so much time taking care of her. I visit my mother almost daily,(except for when I'm sick and I have even visited her then) we take her home on the weekends, we travel together, we go out to lunch the movies you name it I've become a pro at sliging a wheelcare around. For us this was such a blessing.

I realize our solution may not be the solution for you, I added this so you would be encouraged and know that God will work this thing out in your favor. All is not lost pray and trust in him. I have all of you in my prayers.

Zeal, I forgot to add that if you need to know anything about services and care for your mom feel free to pm me. I don't know if you know what your options, but you guys can have someone come into the home to care for her, but this will depend on her needs. I can give you information on finances this is something you guys will want to handle as soon as possilbe.

Thanks Shalom.

Mom is pretty independent. Although she had a stroke she was blessed. It left here with a condition called Aphasia. Mom has been in therapy since September. She drives gets around and is pretty independent. She just gets a few things mixed up sometimes. She is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than she was 4 months ago.

However, she may need surgery for her heart which was a cause of the stroke. This is why my sister wishes to stay home.

My sister's hearing is at 12:00 PM EST. Please pray with and for her.

Father God;

We agree this mountain will be removed, and the problem will be resolved. We agree and are believing for all our needs to be met. God, you said in your word, "Call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things".

We agree therefore that the miracle of resolution has come and that the peace that passes all understanding has come.

We agree that every need is met in Jesus' mighty name.

Zeal, i will pray. i understand as my family has been going through similar trials. My grandfather has dementia and my grandmother-in-law has aphasia. It is difficult to care for those love ones, especially to see that strong person become needy as a child. They have up days and down days.

God is in control, and He is in control of the situation at work.

I'm glad to hear your Mom is doing well.

ITA agree with you in prayer and will continue to pray for you all.

Zeal, I agree with you in prayer. I thank God for giving your mom a new heart and that is functioning well, in the perfection in which God created and designed her to be.

I pray that your sister is highly favored and that nothing shall be any means be decided against her but 'for' her. For she will find favor and good understanding in the site of God and man. God's decision will prevail, not man's. All will be at peace.

But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.

For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).

Father God, it is in YOU, that this precious family has found refuge and as a shield, you will surround them with your goodwill, your pleasure, and your Divine Favor. Keep praying. It is not quite over yet.

My sister had her hearing today.

My sister now has to get 12 cards filled out and signed by the Dr. It has to be in my next Friday, or she will be termiated from a job that she has had for over 10 years.
