at me on the bus when you have a jacked up weave on full of what looks like grease. And you girl's hair is nappy yet laid down with that ugly black gel and then she has the nerve to have on a straight little bun in the back. My twist look better than yours ever will. YOU NEED TO BE HERE EVERYDAY:wallbash::rolleyes:

Dont worry about them haters! You are beautiful! She was jealous that her weave is a hot mess, and you are NATURALLY happy with your hair.

I left my sock full o quaters at home this morning, however I see these 2 ladies every morning on the bus, and they always roll their eyes at my hair styles. I did start to say "Do yall look in the mirror in the morning" But I just smiled at the haters.:lachen::lachen:

AMEN! All their extra aint even worth acknowledging....in the past year of being natural, I have spoke so much love to myself that I sooner believe someone is crazy off their rocker if they can't see the beauty in healthy head of hair :grin:

Girl they don't know any better. But you shoulda said something. One day a woman on the bus cussed me out about my hair calling it ugly and how I look ugly with it and saying I was so ****ing afrocentric. I was wearing a fro that day. I just told her to take out the old dried up piece of weave she has in for a ponytail an left it at that. The back story is that I accidentally bumped into her, I said sorry but she couldn'r leave it at that so... Plus she gave me a funny look when I was at the bus stop with her before that.

If she spent more time caring for her own hair instead of poking fun at you and others, maybe hers wouldn't look so tacky.

Haters gonna hate you are beautiful. KIM cause you know they are just jealous or they would'nt not say anything. And WHY is it always the ones with crazy nasty weaves banging on their freshly laid tracks cause it itches. Have you ever seen people do that. I saw 2 women on the train tapping their heads but the weaves STILL looked like hell and you saw the glue along the hair in bozo colours.

EXACTLY! People that laugh at other people are so unhappy and have such low self-esteem that the only way they can cope is by trying to make others feel bad. Shrug your shoulders and walk tall. Your hair is gorgeous!!

I swear if you wear you hair natural people are going to hate. If you have naturally long hair people are going to hate cause let me tell you. I get the same treatment from tacky weave wearing people BECAUSE I have long hair.

Like OH she think she better than us. Okay I dont' even KNOW You. NEVER saw you in my life we are on the bus or on the train. I dont' know you from Adam and here you go.

Haters gonna hate. I mean DAYUM when are BW going to stop hatin on each other bad enough when other do it. We are our own worst enemies at times. Its sad and some of these women have not seen their natural hair since 1989

Your hair is beautiful. That woman was just jealous and trying to mask her low self-esteem. An older woman should have more sense and not act childish, especially to a stranger and in public! So sad. :nono:

I went through a similar situation when I had short locs. I did as my Mama taught me, "Kill 'em with kindness!" Before I knew it, same people were asking me how I got my beautiful luscious locs.

ITA with this - they are hating because the actually like it but instead of asking you how you do it.. they try and make fun of you. Walk with your head up high and be proud girl - you got it going on!
