I must say, this has been a journey of discovery for me. My last relaxer was Dec 28, 2008 and BC'd on Sept 5, 2009. I don't do many length checks anymore. I think I was a bit excessive in the beginning. Now, my ultimate goal is healthy hair and being content with what I have. I try not to compare my growth with others (that can be a little disheartening). I'm learning to love what I've been given and be a good steward of the big and small things! I don't really know if I should count 1 year from last relaxer or from my chop, so I'll just do it from the chop 
. I can't post pics of my hair since I'm in the hide your hair challenge until Dec 31, so I'll post the most recent (which was in July 2010).

My Regi:
Wash w/Elucence Moisture Benefits Poo
DC-LeKair Cholesterol Plus ( I add EVOO)
Leave-in: Elucence MBC
Moisturizers: Qhemets AOHC, BurdockRoot BC, or Afroveda Cocolatte
Seal w/ NC Nourish and Shine, Castor Oil (ends only), or EVOO
I air dry
I moisturize when my hair is damp, but not dripping wet (~50-75% dry)
