2" Plastic Mesh Roller Temperature Check

Ladies,

Ya’ll know that I have asked bebezazueta 50-11 questions about her lovely roller set results. She uses the French mesh rollers when freshly relaxed and the red 1½” plastic mesh rollers when she has more NG because they provide more tension.

I’m toward the end of my transition, so I bought the red rollers. However, after watching Mahagony Curls most recent roller set video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UYkLRYMW0I I determined I probably need bigger rollers, so I bought the grey 2” magnetic rollers.

Unfortunately, the good Lawd didn't bless me with a lot of patience :nono:, so I need the 2” Italian Conici plastic rollers. They will dry/set quicker than the magnetic rollers. However, I don’t want to spend the price of a LCLBeauty hooded dryer on getting enough rollers to set my entire head.

I’m trying to gauge the interest in doing a group order, so all the ladies using indirect heat to stretch their hair can get the bigger plastic mesh rollers without spending an arm and leg to have a HHJ :look:.

Please reply and let me know if your interested.

TIA

I tried to tag everyone in the Setting to Success 2013 challenge. I'm not sure it it worked, because I can only see some usernames and not all of them. Nonie I think I need your technical help.

Why you got me watching porn at work? LMBO! Her hair is just gorgeous!!!!!

I have the LCL dryer already. :( Believe it or not Pibbs has a 516 out. And the price ain't cheap. It is gorgeous! If I didn't have a dryer already, I'd be down for the group order. Good luck. Thanks for making me want to BC again for the third time. :(

I think I'm interested as well. Are they not found at the BSS? Forgive if the Q is stupid as hell, I'm a rollerset noobz. I don't have any rollers yet but I was planning on getting some there.

I have big ol head and a lotta hair, about APL...I think 2" should work.

Yes, Rozlewis, but trying to gauge interest in doing a group order to benefit members. Not selling or going into business, just trying to spread the shipping around, so everyone can get what they need for their hair setting goals.

Amarilles you can easily get 1 1/2" plastic mesh rollers made by Diane or Annie, or smaller.

However, the longer your hair gets you need larger rollers. The plastic mesh dries faster than the magnetic rollers. To my knowledge they don't have 2" plastic mesh rollers available Stateside.

Someone please let me know if I'm incorrect!

The video won't play for me. I might be interested. I'm transitioning. Is there any evidence you can get a decent set on 4b hair?

TraceyNicole if your on a mobile device you may need to get on your laptop/PC to see that hair p0rn.

Rozlewis For clarification, www.salsrl.it has 2" plastic mesh rollers called Pungiglione, which are straight. Also, they have the 1.85" Conici rollers that Smores is selling, which concave in the middle.

I'll ask my son to see if he can come help post pictures, so you know what I'm talking about.

I think only 3 rows display but I believe everyone you tag got the tag. I have gotten a tag alert even when my name wasn't listed at the top of the thread. MileHighDiva

@Nonie how do I make the pictures show up. It's just showing as a link. Sorry, for being such a bugaboo tonight

@MileHighDiva To post the image, once you've copied the URL (link) of the photo you want to post, before pasting it as you did, you first click on this icon
insertimage.gif
, located above the window where you're posting, and a little window will pop up. That's where you paste the link and then hit Enter on your keyboard or click on OK on that pop up window and the image will appear in your post.

Alternatively if you type
o leaving a space and then type [B]
without leaving a space at the end of the URL, when you submit, you will see an image instead of a link

So for your link, you would type:

img]http://www.salsrl.it/siti/sito_websi...1336_98635.jpg[/img

If you add the open square bracket [ at the beginning of that string and add a closed one ] at the end, when you submit, your image will appear. I didn't put the open and closed brackets on purpose because I wanted you to see what it should look like. If I had, an image would have appeared instead of the string and I didn't want that, for demo purposes.

Hope that helps.

ETA: You were not a bugaboo MileHighDiva; I didn't mind.

Napp Maybe, some of the ladies that have had experience with both will check in. I wonder why Diane or Annie doesn't make the plastic mesh rollers larger than the 1 1/2"?

These rollers look great, besides the dry time what else is special about them?!

... I would actually stay with my magnetic rollers, even though it may take longer to dry, seems like curl would be smoother... Plus I have like each size already, LMAO...

Honestly rather than doing a group order I would order from the lhcf member on here that sells them. The cost to ship these rollers from the manufacturer is ridiculously high from what I remember plus they require you order a minimum number of cartons of these rollers. Even splitting the costs amongst a group will make these rollers pricey. A very large group would be needed in order to make the price of each pack below 10 dollars.

By the way, i am in no way affiliated with the member here who sells these rollers but I at one point had thought about selling them myself.
The price that she is selling them is reasonable considering the amount it costs to ship those bad boys from Italy.

But i will say, these rollers are worth having If you're really into rollersetting. Especially if you're texlaxed or natural.
